just wondering if there's ne beatboxers out there besides me? and if so, how long they been going. what does everybody else think of beatboxing neways?

lol. that's an ill flow u got going there. yeah. tis useful to be able to beatbox. plus, it amazes the ladies, which is nice. never need a producer either. just record some beatboxing then ryhme over the top of it.

I use to when I first started to rap, me and my friends use to do beatbox battles. It was pretty cool. I stopped after awhile and finally started concentrating on rapping in itself more.

We were messin aroud in some store and there was a mic connected to some speakers and he beatboxed so everyone in the store could hear it. It was sooo dope.

I can't believe you would rather record over beatboxing than a decent beat. You must be hella good...or really high.
I have been experimenting with new sounds...almost like scatting, but adding in base beats with it.

Y'know that song you hear when you play the game BattleToads for regular nintendo and you pause it... I can beatbox that.

I beatbox, but I aint no beatboxer. I only got a little bit under my belt. But it's enough that people can rap over it should the need ever arise.

I'm trying to learn to do beatbox scratches. Where you say shit and make it sound like your scratching it up, like the Human Orchestra does.

My mate Beat Boxes....LOL....We were drunk as fuck wen he started and i wanted to bus a free....So he gave me a beat...We went for over 30 mins...His mouth was hurtin for the whole night...!!

my boy can do it... its crazy.. how he does it though.. i try beat boxin, but i just do that normal kick, hat, kick, hat, snare, snare, snare... nothin special... but my boy real good... n he even samples kicks w/ my mic.. n use it in beats...lol...

I messed around with it for a while... i practiced doin it for a month or 2, got to where i could do some Rahzel stuff, now I don't do it that much... Rahzel's pretty awesome, d/l some of his stuff off kazaa... there's better people, but he's still good.

you classify them in terms of real insturments on the drum set? wow...my sounds are multi-purpose...the only one I can classify is the bass one

most of the time beatboxers do classify their sounds in relation to drum sets. make's it easier when talking to each other. some sounds are multi pirpose though. with a little tweaking a snare can be turned into a clap for instance. i've only recently started doing vocal scratches though. when i first started practicing em apparently i sounded like i was killing a cat. i'm better now though. almost sounds immpressive. as for using em as a beat, it more fun to do it that way. it's a complete home made package that way. u can get every sound they way u want it as long as u can do it, and with multi layering, u can get a serioulsy good beat. a man called killa kela did that on his album, and it's just as good as any produciton job. he's as good as rahzel though, so it's bound to sound realistic.
one thing i like doing is dnb neats. great fun to drop a well fast beat.

Im a beat boxer, be tearin it up to. With some spoons, forks, pens... Thats one side of it, but I would get anyone with the beats from the mouf... LOL ... Me and my boy Flip be hitting the beats up on a newspaper machine outside these shops like at 12:00 at night, LOL... I love beatboxing, good topic...

I might record some of my shit and put it on the site... So be on the look out for that everyone...
