British keep that 'accent thats defining them british, i dont know why, ..maybe its cause they used to hear, & if they try to sound 'american' they just fail :S? , but i wsnt completly dutch ..lol, .. i grew up from my 9 yrs old here..so maybe thats a diff. but most people in holland are good in speaking american' dutch language aint that diff, from the american speech,..if u resamble the tones..the way that is sounds..bleh..

Dope = ) ..whats the theme?.. if u know, lol.

Dragon I 01-17-04 06:39 PM

lol british people sounds british cos everybody around them does. guess the american accent developed cos people from ireland scotland britain and europe headed to america, and kinda blended they're accents into an american accent. brits don;t keep they're accent because it makes them unique, it's just that we don't always listen to americans speaking. if we did htough we'd end up sounding american. oh well.
