MAn thers so many people out there tryin ti destroy hip-hop. Bill O Riely and people like him, and u wont belive how many anti hip-hop sites i found where they say shit like........its just noise done by filthy criminals, its ruining our country, and rich kids who listen to it go down hill ........To me all this is bullshit ,what yall think of why so many people hate this music so much lol

i just think people like bill oreilly see that alot of black people that aint have shit before are getting rich from hip hop so they want to attack it and bring it down.. i dont seen what the big deal is.. they should just calm down and ride a dick

I have a friend here who hates Rap Music, because he doesn't like the negative attitude and persona that rappers have. Such as the Bling Bling crap, the "yo yo I'm tuff" and the "all the ladies want to get with this..."

But when you ask me, there are many Rock'nRollers that live the same lifestyle.

and its also people that really dont understand hip hop.. yeah ill admit alot of the shit out there in the videos now may make it seem like hip hop just rags on women and encourages violence

but theres also alot of good hip hop music out there.. i mean everything has its negatives and positives.. people like bill orelly just want to focus on the negative aspekt of hip hop and make it seem like thats all hip hop is about

Anotther thing that i find strange is police will bust a rapper wit some weed but do nothin often to rockers who we all know are into way harsher drugs like heroin.
Look at mick jagger the guy is dried up from all the heroin he never been arrested.

Reasons why people hate hip-hop:

1. They believe it's not real music, since there's no instruments.

2. They believe the artists are untalented since they don't sing or play instruments.

3. They believe it puts on a bad image.

4. They are racists to black art forms.

Those are the 4 I've encountered... most people are just ignorant, using the first 3 reasons, but anyone who is on the 4th has problems.

It's not worth thinking about these people; just leave them alone. As long as they don't ruin your listening of the music you love, there's no point talking to them about it... very few will admit they're wrong.

Personally, I hate Hip-Hop.

I have this friend, he's from LA. And he's talking about how REAL the gangsters and shit are down there. I mean fuck, those are dirty old bastards. And then he comes up here to Oregon and sees all the "gangsters" here. Bunch of teenage white clean cut shower every day throwback and mesh hat wearing English speaking spikey gelled hair mother fuckers whos worse crime they've ever comitted was jay walking.

And that is why I hate Hip-Hop. Because it's nothing but a bunch of dirty criminals, and the little kids who want to be just like them.

Oh yeah, and then there is the fact that most so called Hip-Hop heads couldn't tell you the difference between the country of Africa and the Godfather of Hip-Hop, Afrika Bambaataa. If you mention Grandmaster Flash, they'll think you're talking about a new psychadelic drug or something.

Everything you just said... pretty much proves your idiocy.

1-I said most Hip-Hop Heads. Clearly, that does not denote ALL Hip-Hop heads. Now, funny thing is, irregardless of it's classicality, because most Hip-Hop heads got no respect for the past, to of listened to The Message you'd either have to be around when it was made, which would make you an old man. Have deep love for old school, which would not make you a hater and thus not of made the post you did, or simply heard it by chance.

2-I'm on rapbattles.com for my own reasons. Mostly because I am a nerd with no life who has nothing better to do. But I also like to bitch and moan. And occasionally reading and even less occasionally commenting on poetry.

3-Good Comedy is clearly not your strong suite. For that you should be shamed, for comedy is the root of all things good.

Because it talks about sex, drugs, violence...etc.

And because they're ignorant

Who cares? Do your own damn thing.

Basically... having respect for the past don't come into it...

I ain't heard of the guy, but it don't take nothing away from the fact I'm into real Hip Hop.. its progression.. peeps learn more each day, particulary with net access etc..
