Have you guys ever thought of like doing a RB Dictionary for the different terminology you use? It'll help the newbees adapt to the slang and wording that the "RB regulars" use. It wouldn't hurt!

I have been asking for the longest what a "backpacker" is. I dont think anyone knows, maybe it was in a rap song and everyone started saying it, perhaps?! I dont know!

It relates to you comment about disliking "Happy People".
When I was in San Dimas, I used to work for McDonald's and I used to deal with negative, rude people every day. The only way I was going to make my job enjoyable was to turn those negatives into positives. So I overdid it with kindness, and it was to the point where customers didnt want me to make their food! It worked out for the better because I moved from 'backline wrapper' to 'drive thru, window 1', which was more funner and less stressful! |

OKay first things first,
Not all backpackers are white and most backpacker rappers are black but you will find that they dont care about what colour they are. Backpacker music is very good, if you like bling bling rap or gangster rap you will not enjoy it in the slightest, it is more about the beauty of the lyrics then the bragging about guns, cars, and money oh yeah and bitches, lol. Some good backpacker artists are: El-p Murs Aesop Rock Talib Kweli Atomosphere Sole The grouch These are just a few but most people that listen to this music are people that write themselves, or people that got tired of listining to the same old thing again and again. |
