Eminem New Album News
Source - hiphopselect.com
By the fourth quarter of 2003, Eminem's fourth solo album was about half-way finished. But late last year, the majority of his songs such as "Bully," "Come On," "Monkey See, Monkey Do," "Love You More" and "We As Americans" was leaked and made its way onto the Internet. "I was about six to eight songs deep," Eminem told XXL magazine. "Now I'm about three to four. It's so painfull to have them things go; it's all a work in progress. Choruses can be changed, lines can be changed, there are certain lines on the shit that I feel like I can hit better. Those [leaked songs] were a day in the studio, making a song, and you go home at night with it and that's what you live with until you're ready to mix it down. The mix from the rough version is like night and day." Eminem's upcoming fourth album will along with 50 Cent's second album be released in the third quarter of 2004. It features guest appearances from D-12 and G-Unit and production by Dr. Dre and Em himself. "I really like Slim Shady," Dr. Dre, who's executive producing the album, commented. "I like him talking shit and pissing people off. That's where he's gonna go next, talking shit and raising eyebrows." "Eminem fans will not be disappoined," manager Paul Rosenberg told XXL magazine. "He's gonna have a lot of responses to everything that's going on. No stones will be left unturned." |
Let's just hope there's truth in these words "Slim likes pissing people off"
I havent seen anything interesting from Eminem since 2001. I hope he pisses people off with more lunatic stories, not with another mediocre album. |

Word... He been fallin' off for a minute now... -W1 |
Eminem isnt falling off by far, its simply a matter of his style changing, redirecting himself rather from an underground type spit to a more mainstream and truthfully a more meaningful mature story telling spit. nough said, if he is falling off then whys the world on his dick? chances are half the people that said he sucks own half his cd's
"let are voice live on through the lyrics that you hear in our songs" |
Emenem isnt fallin off his style is jus becoming Generic... thats how all white rapper rap now
|
i think ems fallin off a bit...but i think hes gonna comeback powerhouse style an shyt...ive heard some of tha leaked songs off mix tapes an shyt...an they're bomb as hell.
as for JA...i think if he hadnt started out as a sell-out, id listen...but i dont do that poppy ass sell-0ut bullshyt. feel me? --0ut--> |

what do you mean, thats where he's gonna go next? shit, the dude lives there. He has not written a song that didn't talk shit to some other celebrity, or the general public, or the music industry since inifinite. I wonder if dre actually listens to his music. And to whoever said he was getting a more underground style, you couldn't be further from it. Did you hear his last album? Shit was all "Music Industry sucks. You are taking my daughter from me. Leave me alone". It certainly has the underground ideals, but part of an underground style is that, while they reject major labels, they also rap about stuff that is more meaningful than "fuck you all". |

I have all his cds, but that doesnt mean he isn't falling off... The MM LP was his best but it wasnt classic... I just like how he puts words together... His subject matter is garbage... And he can't put words together as good as he used to... Kinda like Nas... Illmatic was the pinicle, but then he fell off... I still bought his shit though... Cause you know it's still better than most, and it's not complete garbage... -W1 |
this is gunna be dope. Can't wait.

lol!!!! ja rule has somehting to say? he can hardly spell, and when he speak's all you hear is him doing his best impression of the cookie monster. that said though, i've never actually bought any of his albums, so maybe next to all his wannbe gangster and repetitive radio friendly duet bullshit he says some tracks with deep politcal messages. heck, maybe i'm just ignorant, and 'we gon clap' back said over and over again for a hook was actually a well thought out dig at the stagnant nature of hip hop. then again, maybe i just don't like the prick. oh well. not exacylt being a fan, i'm not gonna apreciate nething he says, even if it is important. i do recognise everybody's right to an opinion, it's just that this is mine. so if u do like him, feel free to go ahead and buy ja's next album or whatever, and just ignore me. as for em, not sure whether i'll buy his album. depends on how good people say it is i guess. i only bought his last one cos it had like £5 off, but if it's a great album, i guess i'll get it. |
Eminem IS falling off, whether you like it or not. His peak was in 2001. He started out with an underground lyrical style, but his delivery was weak and his album was generic (not to mention a imitation of Illmatic). Then he released the Slim Shady and Marshall Mathers LP's which weren't quite as good lyrically, but it was a good tradeoff. He lowered his lyrics but his delivery became far more passionate, and his subject matter became more interesting (fucked up yes, but interesting too). Personally, I am not a fan of an album where half the songs are battles, maybe one or two, but not half. His production was also far better. He kept all his 1999-2000 energy into 2001 with collabs like "Renagade", but after 2001 everything became gangsta, leave me alone, Ja Rule and Benzino suck.
He might be selling more than ever, but becoming lyrically average from being lyrically strong and becoming just another gangsta rapper is called "falling off". Unless Eminem brings something original out in 2004, he's in trouble. I sure don't want an album full of songs like "Go To Sleep". |
He fell off a bit with the Eminem Show, but he's makin his comeback with the green lanter tapes, and this album's gotta be some hot shit to counteract all this bullshit.
|
..em's decent...
|
whats on the new eminem cd
is there good songs???? |
^ you should control your mood swings. Didn't you just call Eminem a "crap white rapper"?
|
Em talking shit and pissing people off is not where he's going to go next. He's already been there and done that.....and continues to do that because he is a gimmick. This is just Dre's attempt at keeping that gimmick alive.
|
I think wogsta ^^ said it best. . . and if you think the green lantern mixtape songs are hot... i can't say anything that will make you understand how eminem IS falling off
|
let's wait and see
|
em's gimick is played. "he is going to piss people off" yea wow whats new?. why doesnt he actaully rap some songs with actuall concepts instead of tring to be "mr contraversy".
his CD will be garbage again, and i wont buy it. or download it. |
cant wait till the next album...............lol
|
Eminem is the Posterboy for Shock Rapping. Lets get something new here people.
|
first of all, ja is shit...ugh...anyays em is one of few white mc's i respect...whether or not he is "fallin off" or not, i will be there buyin his latest shit... pz ~wun~
|
when is finally releasing his new album??
cant wait anymore, he still can leave us with the mouth wide opened |
"Eminem's upcoming fourth album will along with 50 Cent's second album be released in the third quarter of 2004"
|
so 50 underground albums like guess whos back dont count?? you should have specified
|
Eminem's songs do have concepts... they are just becoming generic. The controversy thing is just his signature. Most rappers have one... for example Rakim has heaps of different songs, but each song has a trace of battle rap in it where he self-glorifies. Em's signature is pissing you off while getting a message... but he is becoming generic. He's getting filler concepts in like "Soldier" and "Without Me" which have all been said before, by Em himself or some other rapper.
^ and THAT, is why he is falling off |
when yall wake up in da morning and look in the mirror, take a good look at your self,
and say " if i was eminem what would i do today" the last thing you would think is too lose fame. the mu fukkas a lyricist and the highest paid one at that, hes untouchable "so far" me im a lyricist that hasnt been noticed yet so all of you peeps that think em is weak "reality check fellas" look in the mirror your "nothing" |
^ fame and money doesnt make you a good rapper. Look at 50 Cent. Or Nelly.
|
but think about how nelly and 50 made it there, by bein mad produced and controlled in their careers...em made it by totally doin his thang despite the constant criticism..now hes a star studded mc and theres nothin wrong with that
|
if u think eminem is fallin off or u think jay z is a bum or nas only had 1 good cd or u think that ja rule has somethin to offer the rap game then u really have no business concerning urself with hiphop. u should really take the time to listen to the meaning behind peoples music and dig a little deeper.
|
mmm i am not a stan but i dont really understand al the people hating on emminem cos' at one pointof time they would have listened to his music...
|
^ im not hating.... i did listen to his music.... I love the Slim Shady LP and Marshall Mathers LP... i didnt necessarily say eminem sucks now, i'm just saying hes losing it... its not as good as it used to be... what we need is him to bring the style of MMLP back with the lyrics of Infinite... but hes becoming all gangsta etc. and its too repetitive to hold my interest anymore...
ps. I own 4 Nas CD's and 4 Jay-Z CD's... therefore i am not a hater on that count either, if Opey was thinking i am... |
eminem will sell 4 million records
while all you textcees will be writing 3 post songs about how you hate him. dude is the most talented commercial emcee out right now, by far. yet, people who don't even rap, or are just learning to rap wanna look cool by saying he sucks as a artist. when 99.9% of you dudes couldnt walk in his shoes if he lent em to you. |
^ actually, Nas and Jay-Z are better commercial artists. If you would like to know why, ask, cos i cant be bothered posting something no one will read
