The most heartfelt song

I just heard "you never know" by immortal technique, and that is the most heartfelt, most saddening, and beautiful song ive ever heard. that shit got my eyes watery, im not a very emotional guy, but damn it was dark and so happy at the same time, it was perfect. so i wanna see wat song yall think is the most heartfelt hip hop song, and why it is.

nas ft ron isley. i dont know the name but the hook goes "looking out of my project window, oh i feel, uninspired. looking out of my project window, it makes me feel so tired"
(i remember listening to it, the day i got kicked out of school, i just happened to be looking out the window and it was raining and it was a fucked up day, and i was feeling like i fucked up, and one line said " so many ways out the hood, but no signs say out" that little line motivate me for some reason)

Da NFamous 02-12-04 10:10 PM

Umm Encore jay? umm One Mic nas, Changes pac, i think Changes probably takes it, i think "Heart Of The City" by Jay and That joint by Jay and Kanye on Kanye's album is up there, "Get Up Get Down" i think it is, i was never a real big Jay fan but the beat just sets the tone perfect and jay hurts that song, 1luv.

Da saviour 02-13-04 07:50 PM

Listen, from dre (to vary, people always say the same songs)

FairInHeight 02-13-04 11:41 PM

I think "memory lane" by nas, it just has that sort of vibe.
"theives in the night" by mos def and kweli,
Just about anything from Common,
one of the most heartfelt songs i think that doesn't get too much recognition is "Unexplained" buy The Gza, probably cause nobody really knows the real name, it goes under "swordsman" too.
