i got 1 as well and a day after i stumbled across that website, mine aint that bad tho, ya just have to keep toppin the charge up. and i think wen it says the battery is low that just means theres like 2 hours left!!! if ya still have problems with it, send it to apple with the warenty and the'll send ya a new 1. apple are aware of the problem and have a good customer service deparment!!!!

^Yeah, i do think it's a bit annoying when people post up a link and don't elaborate on it as much as they could/should. Especially if the link doesn't work for some.

IPod reportedly say that the battery supplied will last for life. But this guy claims it only lasts for 18 months. Then that's it. And it isn't replacable.

But some next guy has 'proven' it is possible to replace it. Though i'm not sure about the 18 month thing.

Just FYI, that is the First Evolution iPod's that fuck up like that. The new one's (although not lasting forever) Last the better part of 5 years, if you don't charge it up a lot (only when it's dead) it lasts a lot longer then if you always put it in the charger.

If it's not rechargable or replacable Ipod is getting sewed.

Name a justifiable cause as to how.

If the battery is supposed to live up to 5 years and it only lasts a year and a half people will sue. Trust me, people sue for anything these days.

Hmm, seeing I work there, their has never been a claim, and I just TOLD you it works for that long. I have one, it never fucks up, it's called user error. Like in your case, using an iPod as a dildo would fuck up it's battery while giving you an electric shock which you mistake for an orgasm.
