So what is the top selling hip-hop album and top selling artist?
I'm guessing it's between Tupac and EminEm.

No its not between them, All Eyez On Me 10 million sold to date. Slim's hightest is 6 maybe 7 now but a year ago it was 6

no.....marshall matters LP sold over 8 mil.
And that was about 3 yrs ago....so he prob. sold ten mil as well

I would say probally Eminem too.. but most likly 2pac had more... Eminem is catchin up tho,.. hopefully his next album be hott!

When you're talking about all albums by one artist: Tupac has sold the most, faaaaaaaaar ahead of Eminem. Em isn't even in the top 10.

When you're talking about one album: Tupac, Biggie, Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer are the only rappers to ever go diamond (10 million copies). I'm not positive but i'm pretty sure Hammer has the highest selling album.

Pac may be far ahead of EM...but that's because Pac had more albums.And Eminem's Marshall Matter LP sold 10 mil. already.The Eminem Show has sold about 8-9 mil. ....so that'll probably make it to 10 mil as well.8 Mile Soundtrack and Slim Shady LP sold well....but just not as good as Marshall or EMinem Show.Just face it.....EM will pass all these others guys in terms of sales in the future.

Pac has put out 100000000000000 records. So, it makes sense that he's the biggest selling rap artist of all time, almost by default.

well D12 world only came out not to long ago.....and they sold over half mil in it's first week.That's pretty good.That MC Hammer shit is sumtin I don't know bout.

are the beastie boys not rap? i just was watching something about them on TV last month, and it said they had the best selling rap album of all time... they were huge back in the day, & i was checkin, i couldn't find any recent stuff, but in like 99/00 they had 9 million albums sold of licensed to ill, and they're droppin a new one soon, so i'm thinkin that'll go up... so tupac and em can go home, beastie boys are in tha house!! :thumbup:
