How is Dre falling off?

His first album was "The Chronic". Nearly everyone would consider it a classic. His only other solo album was "Chronic 2001". And once again, many people consider it a classic. Just because he doesn't constantly drop albums doesn't mean that he's falling off. He just enjoys producing more than rapping.

Will somebody please explain how an artist, in which every album the dropped was considered a classic, in some way is considered to be falling off?

He might still be featured in albums, like "The Eminem Show"

i told everyone this would happen when everybody was anticipating dre's detox that was originally due out later this year. dre will produce all of these kat's records, then he'll have like 10000 extra tracks and he'll spit on most of them. then he'll slap together detox around 2010 or so and it will sell like crazy.

Now he has to produce Jay-Z's album too

Detox was hyped up hella n Dre may be slow out puttin out shit but he don drop anythin that isnt perfected same reason he had Head clashes wit Eve n them, they say hes a perfectionist n respect him..

What dre did tho to build aftermath was..aftermath aint Jus Em n Dre its the legacy n new music they wanna build n since Bustas last LP with "Genesis" n it "aint Safe no more" bein some of his lower sales, the beats he had been creating "Since" The Chronic where all for Detox but Busta n eve said if they signed along with Icecube n Eve n Cube have been on aftermath before that they wanted a Quality LP now dre knew he wanted to keep it goin so he couldnt spend another huge amount of time constructin good beats so to keep both artists n make sure its there Best albums yet, he gave the beats n is usin them for there album to make sure its top notch n ice cube has soem beats as well n that beat for "Fire" off lloyds, yeah that was one of dres to n the games mixtape one is the same type of circumstance he is jus sacrisificin somethin we all want but don need yet to push other artists out who need it straight up, dre wants to make sure aftermath stays tite n with producers like lil jon n them out there he needs to not rep how much of a rapper he is, but hes a gifted producer as well n hes gonna do that, n thats why he scrapped it end of discussion peace..w

dre's a descent rapper, nobody said he was a descent writer...
it's openly known that he has ghost writers, but it isn't openly known the other thousand or so artists who have ghost writers... just open a CD jacket sometime, even to 2pac or slim shady CDs...

dre is a great producer. he puts out hard beats that ride well. listen to a CD that has a dre beat and you'll pick that out as one of the best if not the best on the CD. he makes simple sounding beats with very good rhythms. i've always been a fan. and yes he does strive for perfection, which shows on most of his shit.
