This is kinda a random thread, I was just wonderin' what y'all think of him. Do people play his shit in your hoods? If yes, which albums and songs and shit like whats da hood's favorite eminem shit? I live in detroit, so they play his shit cuz its hometown, is that da only reason? I know hes a talented cat but we only play his older stuff like Infinite and stuff like his underground shit. so.....basically....what y'all think about Eminem....just put yo thoughts here. (And white rappers in general maybe)

Yea I live in East Side Detroit, and really Kid Rock gets more respect in Detroit ghettos than Em does, because Em is kinda conceited. Although on 8 mile everybody is all about em, but in most of the ghettos they dont really like him.

I'm not a huge fan of new Eminem...before he had a totally original style, and now he's transforming into everybody else...going off that thug shit. The reason i liked Em was because of his crazy style.

Also, lately in his collaborations he just seems to gas whoever he's rapping with, i.e. that jadakiss track...wtf is he gassin d-block so much for? Same thing with his Paciently Waiting track with 50 cent...he went from trying to outshine people on their own tracks to playing as a puppet for them.

I seriously expect major things from his next album, as its supposedly stated that he'll return to his old style. If he does i'll be a major fan of his again. Until then, Fabolous will reign supreme as my favorite.

aiyo that "unreleased" song u talkin bout up there isnt a real song. those lyrics u posted are like a mix of some songs on da slim shady lp so dat song u got is probably somethin homemade wit some DJ equipment some dude has and u downloaded....not a a real song....da lyrics are from "just dont give a fuck" just mixed up....look dat song up on a lyric site and u will get all those.

Canibus is smarter... 2 points... He treats Hip Hop like an art, and utilizes English as a langauge way better than Em.
Canibus is Better with intelligent punchlines... 3 points
Canibus is more real 4 points (Both are out there, but Bis reflects Hip Hop more as he talks about real things and issues sometimes)
Canibus is a better teacher: 5 points... One can learn more just listening to Bis, his content is more entertaining when Eminem isn't being humorous...
Canibus has better experience battling: 6 points (tru, Em was in the Scribble Jam, but Bis battled a legend, and roasted Beanie Siegle, Eminem battles pop stars)
