What did everyone think of this movie...do you think they could do a decient sequal if they did?

It was cool although it kind off ended awkwardly

if they showed the way he gets to the top, then yeah, if they ended the second movie with him being signed, then yeah, it'd work.

I think the movie was alright.... but I bet if they make a sequal... I think it would B pretty hott....

I think if they related a sequal to his real life it could be tight.
For everyone that didnt like the movie, you gotta admit that the battle at the end was off the hook...
Does anybody else think that on the DVD it woulda been kinda kool to have an alternate ending where he loses??? mighta been a bit better ending for a sequal...

No, he goes back to work. The movie is based loosly on his life, i.e. girlfriend, mom, the big battle at the end, because he wins. But the battle at the end was just a battle. He became champ, but not for anything big. In real life, he placed second, not first, in the Rap Olympics, which is big. A few months went by, then Dre found a tape on someone's floor, I think the president of Interscope. In any case, it's based loosly, not solely on his life. So he goes back to work.

And Kanye West just came onto my WinAmp, so I gotta turn this shit off.

its written loosely on his life........... its like one of those movies where they say "based on a true story" wen sumone did sumthin "like" this.......... but not exactly that............ and that battle shit in the movie isnt even close to the rap olympics..... its juss sum lil club and shit......... i bet he won sum battle contest like that before....... but he eventually leaves......... i think they should start the movie off at like "the rap olympics" and have him do good in the first couple rounds and lose the final one (like in real life) so he realizes he might not be the best........... gets into sum shit.......... and blah blah........... and then at the endin he should juss get signed or sumthin........... never get famous in the movie (like sumone else sed).......... i kinda hate commercial movies where the person gets real famous......

The movie was dope it shoed a lot of people who knew nuttin' bout hip hop an area of teh culture nuff respect to em 4 dat. If they made a sequel it'd make him millions n ppl wud go 2 c it but it wud b bollocks and it wud damage his rep well bad, as being real n non-commercial. Peace

A sequel might work, in lose yourself EMinem kinda carries on the story tho so, yeh good movie definetly one of my faves
