Graphics Tournament
 

I was just thinkin we got a lot of graphics heads on this site.. and since we dont have graphics battles I propose a Graphics Tournament to hopfully bring out even more people, and possibly get more attention to the Graphics battles..Anyways i know there is an idea for graphics battle forum.. this will jus get it off the ground.

Anyways heres my Idea -

12 - 16 people..
Tournament runs -

Topic and set up Monday,
Check In By Wednesday,
Drop your graphics by Thursday
Voting Closed By Saturday Evening / Sunday Morning.

Winner gets the title of Top Graphics Head On the site..

Winner also get $50,000.00 in RV money
Runner up gets $10,000.00

I'll run and mod the tournament. If you would like to compete in this tourney.. please sign up..

are we seeding this...because there arent too many people on this site that can hang with me graphically so it wouldnt really be fair if the battles were random...theres only about 3 or 4 i consider as competition...

naw man, i'll help sponsor the shit, but i aint in it, graphix aint my thing.

i'll give an extra $20,000 on top of wateva the winning pot is to whomever wins.

Topics will vary.. some may be wallpapers.. some may be CD covers... some may be like a movie poster....

I have a ton of ideas.. each round will be the same topic though..

so example

ROUND 1 = Topic 1

Round 2 = Topic 2

and etc...

hmm i think battles should be based on two topics, for example i am lot better at making smaller images (Sigs, cd covers, etc) than i aim in larger images (wallpapers, splash screens, layouts, etc)

Battles are going to be set up the way im settin em up.. there not going to be huge pictures or anything.. but I will create the round topics.. and trust they are good..

beginning will be easy and average.. then it gets harder and harder..

1, how you will you determine the seedings?
2, is it possible to have maybe 1 round, were you provide a base image (like a rapper for example) and see whats the best we can do with it?

werd to #2 thats a good idea...i think once you get your forum you should make a check-in thread where everyone posts an example of some of their best work and you can seed that way...

brushes aint that hard, you can find alot of sites that have nice free ones. I really wouldnt use them unless you are going for an overall "dirty" feel to ya pic

howd you make the background in your sig without brushes...brushes are too important...they arent hard to use though at all...

I agree.. everyone should drop one piece of work.. if not.. ill look at the sigs and determine the seedings..

If possible i would like to break it off into 4 sections..

Then the winners of those 4 sections face of like so

NORTH winner vs SOUTH winner in Semi Final..

EAST winner vs WEST winner in Semi Final...

THEN

WINNER of N v S vs WINNER of E v W

and if we want a consolation round we can take the loser of the semi final battles...

There will be 4 rounds..

Different Ideas for each Zone for some originality and so that you dont see 16 sigs of tupac in the first round..

Ive already made up the topics for the 4 rounds..

and Im just orignalizing them for each section.. it will be dope dont worry..

Nope dont worry.. im not participating in the tourney.. I believe that since i do graphics I can definitely pick out which votes are retarded and such.. also.. I have some pretty good ideas..

and for Schema.. I have pmed strobe.. and hopfully we will get one set up soon, as we are getting more graphics heads to participate..
