Let's Blacklist the Blacklist...
 

I think the blacklist is pretty retarted...individual unexplained/hate votes should be reported and deleted...anyone with chronic unexplained/hate votes should be banned...its a good idea on paper but some people are using the blacklist as a tool to keep out legitimate votes...(i.e. blacklisting everyone who has ever voted against them)...the blacklist is hurting voting on rv more than it is helping it...i dont think hate voting is really that big of a problem...ill add a poll...hopefully enough people agree that strobe will see this and get rid of a useless feature...feedback?

i know what you mean but it gets used for reverse dickriding...people blacklist people that vote against them one time....i think it creates more of a problem than it solves...dickriding/voting rings are better left to individual handling...because you cant tell who really might have voted with a blacklist voting ring...someone could get a k.o. and really they shouldve lost...you cant tell though bc the blacklist wont let you post at all...

example: Ive lost a battle 5-1 and have had 3 people tell me themselves that they tried to vote for me but were blacklisted...so who knows how many tried and just didnt tell me...the battle mightve had a totally different outcome...

and yes there is hate voting but it can be handled with banning and suspension...once we start making examples out of people it will be weeded out very quickly

It aint needed at all, fact is, if there is actually a hate vote there, it can be deleted, strobe is obviously more active now.

Any obvious hate votes, will be deleted blacklist or not.

I think this shit is neccisary. Hate votes and retarded votes happen too often.

i don't like the blacklist...theres always gonna be DR'S...and always gonna be hate votes....but the fact is..you can never control both...and if you can't control both..your giving un fair advantage to certain individuals...say voting circles would take advantage of the black list option...because people that vote honestly..or hate..are unable to vote because of blacklisting...so unless you can control the dick riders...don't control the haters....because by doing that...you only benefit a select few..if theres always gonna be dick riders..atleast there will be haters to balance it out...
