The way i see em is that he doesn't appreciate tha fact that he made it and raps about stupid shit......but tha video is funny as hell.....if he would make songs like he does his battles then he'd be respectable.....

i just ssaw the video a lil while ago. funny, but not his greatest. my personal fav is cleanin out my closet. he just gits real personal and shows a lot of emotion.

I got what the song was about: it was a parody of dance/ club type songs, and his Wigganess was delibretly portraying himself as lamely as he could to emulate what he is poking fun in the music biz. That's the reason why I mainly like it, plus he hits on Dr. Dre like the fag he is, was funny. As a novelty song, I'd rate it a 6, but it for DAMN sure doesn't compare to N.W.A.'s Automobile. Haha, anyone remember that song?

i dunno why no one has mentioned the fact that every album em has, starts with a single that doesn't really appeal to rap fans...he draws in more pop listeners with a pop type song, those same pop fans who he draws in with his first single are intrigued to buy his album. plus he knows that real rap fans will buy his album cuz they know he's gon bring fire wit da rest of his album...it's called business and his record sales speak for themselves, so i'm thinkin his album is gon be dope

I'd give it a 9/10, cuz he purposely be makin fun of himself and besides MTV and BET don't really give him any credit for any of his better serious singles. Lose Yourself won an ocsar, but only 1 made up MTV award (best video for a film), and no BET awards. Thats why he comes out with poppy first singles.

Right here buddy. But the truth is, it's not that they're bad lyrically, it's just the commercial overexposure turned me off to them greatly. Stan had a great concept that had perfect lyrics to fit the topic, and do I really need to say anything about "Lose Yourself"? If you sit down and read the lyrics, you'll see he had an amazing style in that, with the lyrics staying on point at all times and never straying once. So I don't dislike them for the lyrical content, I just dislike them because, well...everybody else likes them. But I haven't heard either of them on the radio or seen the videos in quite a while, so I'm beginning to like them again. Not trying to start any beef, that's just my opinion...
