Is It Safe, Dropping Rhymes on Forums.
 

I was just writing a song i did for something i am going to record Tommrow...

& I thought yeah why not post the lyrics...

But then i thought . . wow Someone from the otherside of the world could claim there were his rhymes and become famous with them.

IS it really safe battling doing TEXT on this site . .?
I see why audio heads prefair not to drop there lyrics . . Because they can be bitten so easily without anybody knowing it.

You can get copyrights for that sorta thing tho, I'm sure you can.

BAttles arent really much, but audio lyrics are. Don't most songs on soundclick have license now?

people bite all the time .........depends how u look at it could be falttering............but i havent heard of a main stream rapper or anyone gettin famous and ahveing somebody say "hey i worte that shit"..............im sure its happened before but ive never heard of it

yea. i agree. thats why when im writing a texted verse, and i come across something thats hard, i dont put it on here. its very unlikely imma become a rapper, im not even a rapper, i just know how to rhyme...but there are alot of biters out there. i personally wouldnt put my real lyrics to a recorded song on here...

I know cirtain artists pay people to skim through these type of sites to collect dope lines and verses. And its so hard to prove bittin lines because artists will change them around to fit in with their own verses so they dont sound like how you said it.

But to tell the truth, I write lyrics so often that if someone bit one of my lines or verses I really couldnt give two shits. If it was blaintant, I would chase them up for the royalties. But if it wasnt, then big deal..

I would be happy in knowing that I was better then some of the cats getting paid on large deals. At the end of the day, their just lyrics. But what would be fucked, is if you record a track, and people say your shit if bittin because some gay fuckhead stole your lines.. I mean, who would believe an average jo blo on the street saying a professional rap artist bit off them.

But as for text.. It aint really a big deal.

even if they stole ur lyrics and got famous...tht means they would be whack....for stealing lyrics and means tht they cnt write they own......so wot about when they have to go back in the studio.....theyd have to steal more rhymes...and eventually theyd get caught out.....
