I see alot of you heads saying .. Nucca does my style sound like the games or fifty . . . or I have a different style . . yo.

Be serious. . What do you mean you voice/accent?
Or your way of rapping.
For E.G . . fabolous rappers with alot of multi's but DMX rap's usally with just one word rhymes . . but aim's on his flow/delivery/expression/tension on the mic.

Just want to clear this shit up . . because alot of you say you have a style but you just rap like a normal rapper . .

i dont really have a style persay..........if anything im tryin to find my style.......so i've been tryin some different beats and shit.......if anything i feel more comfortable with a laid back style kinda like snoop ........bit ive been experimentin and shit

Well, with text, I usually just go 1 sylable in a bar, then start the next line off rhymin with the words in the other bar, and then go another bar and so on.

when I actually rap, I usually use multis, cuz it makes it sound hot when you're freestyling and try to think.

my style is like preaching poetry combined with an eminem,nas,and jay z attitude put together.....and im not tryna sound like them,but peeps tell me i rap like them at times.it depends on the mood im in.simple.

My style is like this :

I use a lot of word play to get my point accross and deliever metaphors and similes to deliever punches. (Hint the Grim Reaper of Metaphors)

ITs a very complex setup that is destructive when used in the proper format....

My style: Personels (playin off name, hyperlink, quotes are my most common) Just adopted usin multi's, gettin quite dope with the, next battle I might unleash my skill wit multi's, and wordplay, I also try and get some humour in there. But I never use basic punches, they will always have wordplay or personels, I try to mix a lil of all in, that way it apeals to all mc's viewin it with different style's n' thats werd!

personally i use alot of emotion n make sure its heavy in the delivery..
i use wittyness n meta/punches are usually headscratchers....
my text is stretched but 1 bar equals 2 bars in audio...

I haven't developed a specific style yet, but I'm still experimenting. The style that I flow most comfortably with is kinda reminiscent of 50's. If you want an example, peep his verse on Eminem's track "Never Enough"...

im still experimenting but i rap bout everything....i got kind of a high pitch but tight voice...i think that i got wut u need to get big...i can take wack lyrics(a lot of rappers have em) and put em to a tight beat, spit it,then make it sound like magik...as for da actual lyrics...i have elevated a little and started using more multi's since joining rv...as for song/tempo style.......... i mostly like to spit fast club songs.

i been writing sice i was 8..b4 rap it was poems and stories the lyrics....
im 22 now so i been thru so many phases i dont know my style
i been thru the cannibus style when he came out..i tried some conscious shit which i can still do sometimes..i tried the slow flow...but i got too much to say fa that
tried the tongue twista multis like pun...i still like that
my thing is i like humor in my verses thru punches and metas..i insult alot..
i like multis leading to punches...
i like to try new styles but i try to tell it like im just talking to you
but im still editing certain shit though

when i spit i like to make things unexpected like kinda a flow diffrent from everyones like just completely change the flow go like four bars like sylabals rhymin at the end then throw in somtin else and still try to ride the beat... i dont know my voice... squeaky high pitched not your average whitekid voice..

i drop sum multi's, but i have a lotta basic drops. dope, but basic. not every single word u spit's gonna b dope and complex, it just gotta b good.

I use mutlies... Like whoa... But not in audio as much... Which is kinda opposite most emcee's... But what i do in audio, i make short ass lines, and rhyme one word... But if i use long lines it's multies for sure...

Well, I been told I sound like hilltop hoods, and more recently I was told I sound like an aussie version of Tupac.

I recon I have my own style tho. Its definatly origional compared to most aussie rap artists.. Iunno.. You make your own decision. Ill put my soundclick in my sig real soon.

my style is RAW N like FUCK U.....
i try to get my tension high N express it well with emotion...
then hitt'em hard with punches N then joke about them or something...

i just try to make u look as stupid as i can...

Also in england not everybody knows what a punch is they just call it wordplay So in every 1 track I make I always make sure I put at LEAST 1 punch.. & I always double word rhyme.
Unless im in a freestyle & I dont wanna fuck up . . .

i was told that i sound like a female version of Twista- style wise.. but Mia X with a Chi-town accent, how those two mix, i don't know yet...

My style is beat focused, whatever emotion I get from the beat is how I spit, basically my style is to murder any beat I spit on or at least assault it, dats word

I normally go wit wordplay but i like to use a variety of rhymes i.e 1 word rhymes multies complex i use it as a mix but i concentrate a lot on flow as well...i'm workin on my emotion on the mic but my delivery is gettin better and so far people feelin me on here...which to be honest was unexpected but i'm more into the whole mix of things

Pretty much the most intelligent post in this thread......You have to ride the beat! To make it now a days, you can't have a definitive style, you just have to adjust with the times......unless you have a uniqur approach to the game, then you might wanna keep on doing the damn thing :thumbup:

I rap with alot of internal multies...and occasinally multi-syllables like Fab and Em.

lol at all these peope talkin about personals and shit... u TOTALLY missed the point about style.. in text, all styles are virtually the same.. boring...u cant change the flow or else u get reemed up the asshole for fallin off flow...... audio, you can many flows in one song.. this is why i liek audio.. my style of audio.. id have to say i liek the way cassidy flows, and i guess i got most of my flowing style from him.. i dont rhyme every bar.. some times if im really feelin the beat, i'lll jsut flow until i get somewhere i feel like rhyming at.. it might sound wack in text, but in audio, its pretty cool sounding.. cant really explain it.. but i really liek cassidys flow.. i dont give 2 shits about whats hes actually saying, but kid can flow his ass off.. i also love rakim.. im tryna blend some of his style into me right now.. thats my next mission.. -1

BTW this is not for you text heads.. there's no SUCH thing as a TEXT style.
