I was thinking, you know what would be hot. If we could set up the audio section of RV sorta like soundclick. Meaning that we could have a top 20 rv hits based on the number of hits that the audio track gets. Dopeness what ya think?

That's a nice idea. But how exactly will we determine how many hits it gets? How many times can you up your own track. Details need to be set :thumbup:

That's true. Maybe this shouldn't be talked about so openly. Seventhird should just secretly take notes on who's getting what kind of feedback and how many hits people are getting Vs how many times they upped it themselves. That way, no one really knows they are voting for someone :thumbup:

That's why I said it shouldn't just be about hits. It should also be about the feedback recieved and shit like that :thumbup:

yeah it would be based on feedback, uppin wouldnt count. alot of details to work out. but it be hot to be able to log on RV and go to a section showing top 20 audio tracks. imagine if youre coming to this site for the first time, you would get an instant peep on the hottest audio cats.

Hmmm......the one drawback would also be that people will sleep on cats trying to elevate. People will stop looking at random threads and only peep the ones they are told are the best.....might actually be a setback for some people...

This would be a good idea if everyones feedback in the songs thread was completely honest and motivated solely by the song they are leaving feedback on... Unfortunately we all know this is rarely the case- I can go click on any thread in the song forum and find feedback saying yeah this was great 9/10 your dope, blah blah for songs that sound like they were recorded on a playskool tape recorder. Theres only a few people who I see that leave feedback thats honest and constructive... (cough) Enygma (cough)... We can set this up pretty easily, I just think its going to create more problems than audio activity. I have another idea for the forum Ima post it in songs tonight with a poll, see what u cats think of that.

i think it would create more audio interest from this site, maybe help get more cats interested in doing audio. just and idea.
