Best QB Ever?
 

I'm not usually one to admit when another team's superstar is better than my teams superstar, but I think you gotta give credit where credit is due. Peyton Manning is on fucking fire. He's already setting new records and is on the verge of shattering some that weren't even thought possible to begin with. I saw him throw 6 TD passes today.....6!!!!!!! This was until they pulled him halfway through the third quarter. Just imagine how many he might have had if he played the entire game. He is on the verge of shattering the single season record for touchdowns, currently held by Dan Marino with 48 TD passes. Comparing their progression throughout the season, Dan Marino was only at 30 TDs at this point in the season, Manning is already at 41!!! He has already made up a new record, most consecutive games with atleast 4 touchdown passes, and is on the verge of passing Steve Young's career QB rating (112.8) since he is currently rated with a 124.5 :thumbup:

Joe Montana was a great QB, but I don't think he was the greatest of all time. I think there are plenty that would go above him.....Brett Favre too. I think a close second to Manning might be Marino, but if Manning gets them a superbowl ring this year, he's pretty much sealed the deal in my eyes

If you look at all the great QBs, they always had a go to guy that demanded double coverage, and a quality back that also demanded attention. Joe Montana had Rice and Roger Craig. Peyton has James and Harrison....also Wayne. Mcnabb is doing great this year because of T.O and Westbrook. The only quarterback that never really had a supporting cast was Marino......actually, he had the Marks brothers didn't he. Oh, well.....it proves my point that a QB is only as good as the people he can throw to :thumbup:

I'm not taking anything away from Dan The Man.....they used to say that in practice, without pads....he'd put crosses on the newbies chests from the tip of the football cause he threw so fucking hard. That's A Fucking Arm And A Half!!!!

Lol @ arm and a half...but I remember when the Bears had that stadium recontruction, they played all their homegames in my town. I went to the season opener against the Packers and saw Favre throw one of the best games in his career. Every pass was like 60 yards, it was ultra dope...

yall list some great QBs... brady, marino, elway, peyton manning, mcnabb, montana.... all great but they all learned from the BEST and that was Johnny Unitas colts QB from 1955-1973.... league wouldnt be the same if it wasnt for his style of play and technique... and if you dont know who he was... u dont know football

Id have to say my 12 gauge..throws bullets pretty well...does alot of damage to the defence...but the 9 throw bullets more accurate..
