YEah I dont really enjoy gunplay in rap, especially when people battle. It just seems to me like taking the easy way out.

With the gunplay deal, yes rappers do use it quite a lot. That's the problem. I think it's alright for people to have maybe 1 or 2 songs that have lots of gunplay or a pretty mainstream as long as it isnt the focus and basic subject of the album. If it is, I dont buy it.

theres like no cussing on the whole cd...i dont think it even has a parental advisory...

before you shell out your money its not what you are used to listening to...the rhyming isnt all that complex and he sometimes has extra syllables...but the songs are so good that you overlook it...but its not really something you could bump in the projects...its more of an artistic kind of rap...so if that sounds good buy it but you arent gonna throw a party to it...thats just a disclaimer its still fuckin ill...

I got something I just figured out. Although I cannot stand ppl like Chingy, I still am willing to listen to ppl like Jay-Z just cuz the beat is so addictive that it gets stuck in your head. I admit that I listen to SOME (very little) mainstream, but I wish that more mc's would realise that they suck balls with their factory written rhymes. Man, I get depressed when I think about it.
