I'm happy detroit is finaly coming up. We havent exactly made it to the mainstream but our underground and college market is really hot. I have the privillage of interning for Barak records (home to SLUM VILLAGE) and they have another group out called B.R. Gunna and they have just got added to MTVJAMS with their new video "Someone Good" featuring the dramatics and Mic Luda from Chicago. We also got in Detroit AML and Royce da 5'9 3rd eye open, just a lot. But I wanna know whos hot in your area, thats on the brink of breaking?

Council Of Ideology's Illness

Team Alosta is one big group: they have some of the best graffiti artists in the country, breakdancers, emcees,... 4 of them form the "Outspoken Members" who already have record out and are on top of the underground scene over here. They also have some hot DJ's and it just got started, there's gonna be a lot more coming from them. So things are evolving in positive way over here...I'm talking national level of course...
