why has rv been down so much lately
 

its only down for a few minutes each time but its been down alot in the last week

sometimes it takes like 2 mins.. to load a frickin page..hahah

yea its only happend to me once though.............

its happened 5 times that i know of in the past week is i t getting to busy or what cause idk lol but it never really use to happen b4 now

its slow cuz theres too many people logging on at once

no rb is homo they got a bigger site cuz they include everyone who was rv before we got our own forum like 2 months ago and they own list 90% of the members dont go there rb is inactive as fuck we have almost double they posts a day we are way more active

Honestly, I have no clue... it appears the database server is somehow causing everything to back up and grind to a halt. Can't seem to find the reason why yet. The server RB runs on has a lot less problems. Might be time to get another server.. I'm not really a fan of linux anymore... no more linux!

My mate swears by linux but im a silent doubter of it...and yes <<< has been experiencing the same probs...but jus as long as get on...i'm not bothered

i agree with you strobe, linux is wack.... yeah RB has always run very smoothly
damn quite reasently this week, the forums i have been posting in and shit that im checking out opens pretty quick and then al of a sudden i try to go into another forum and it all just freezes up on me and refuses to load...

I prefer freebsd over linux... under load, freebsd appears to handle better without everything spiraling out of control. Anyways, if you are here reading this, RV is going down for a few minutes... going to reboot the server.. it's been up 225 days in a row. Maybe it'll do it good.
