Actually, the CD cover does affect whether I buy something if the person isn't well known...how else would I get to know them? If we are talking about Jay Z, for example, he has made it. So, he could put a picture of a dog shit on the front cover and sell CDs. Cali, on the other hand, isn't as well known. So, if his CD sat in stores with a fucked up picture on the cover, people aren't as likely to notice it or give it a nod. Why in the hell do you think you use covers for anyway?
Think about it. It's true you can't always judge a book by it's cover. But, the cover does give you an idea what's inside. 1 |
