i have a serious problem they are always on my case...they wont give me any privacy and if i have like a gf or something they question me about everything so i can ttell em i rap or anything everything i do they ambarrase me about its ironic right as my dad walked i today the song dont you trust me came on my labtop which resembels my relationship with my parents in many aspects .......i just toke a break from typing this to awnser his phoen and awnser questions from him.....when he came in today many questions poppped up and i had about 20 things to do im sick of it its bullshit. any suggestions please dont hate

First of all, yea you should stand up to your parent's, though it is hard to do it, for some kid's, if they stand up to their parents then they will get abused, but for your case im not really sure how your parents are, will they abuse you in anyway? Since your dad always makes fun of you, you should tell him in a serious way how much you don't like it, because I am 99.9 percent sure that he will not stop untill you say so becaues he most likely enjoy's doing that, and since you hate it that they always seem to be up all in your buisness, then tell them that you really don't appreciate it and you just want to live life without them all up in your privacy. To me it seem's like they really didn't have what you have right now, meaning they never really had to have fun with their friends or have alot of g/f's or b/f's, so they basiclly get in your buisness and act like you guys are friends, so they will not stop. So you should tell them that you just dont like it. Im not going to re-read what I just typed because Im lazy so if anything in here does not make sence, then tell me, and if you need more help then go to this thread..

well dont take this the wrong way but... your only 15... your parents have a right to ask questions... now if u were 18 or 19 things would be differant.. when i was younger my parents would be all on me about a lot of shit to... then as time went on they gained trust and i gained freedom... so just hang with it cause it will get better dawg... they get on ya cause they care and want u to succeed in life. (is sounding like my parents... scary)

Start acting more independant infront of them, like, do things for yourself instead of asking for their help. Your dad will gain more respect for you.

shit, i started trying to act completely independent at age 10. me and like 3 of my friends would ask my neighbors if we could do any jobs for them for money so we could go eat. neighbors told my parent and they've trusted me and let me do my thing since then.
so what nos said was true, be independent and dont use your parents as a crutch, ask for help as little as possible...shit, dont even ask for rides anywhere |
