ok...i see alot of 'FRESTYLES' in the RR forum......and i KNOW they are not freestyles.....but i think yall cats know that too...the ones makin em...

KIDS..when people say FREESTYLE , 90% of the time its just a WRITTEN spit to a copyrighted beat......

ever buy a FunkFloez mixtap...dj clue..etc etc etc....

when it says JAY Z freestyle....etc etc etc....its NOT a true off the dome freestyle..they HAVE to say hat because its on someone elses beat.....and when cats are selling those cd's they can get HEAT for doing that....so its called a 'freestyle'

and the same thing in RR...most kids just call there shit a FREESTYLE.....so stop giving everyone props for freestyles when the shits written....casue no one is gonna get better spittin writtens that sound the way they do over in our lil audio section....

nah jay can free....alot of em can free...but almost everyone freestyles about half as decent as they write...except for a select few people...

your uninformed if you think jay-z freestyles his albums...

the only person ive herd freestyle almost as good as his written, flow wise...is juice, that guy is amazing...5-10 % of his freestyles is written, like every 10 lines hell mix in a written, but he never falls off flow or stutters, its crazy.

yeah juice is a nice freestyler. it's too bad he's underground, i wouldn't mind hearin his stuff on the radio.

I don't think that Jay-Z freestyles his albums. I've seen interviews where he talks about how he records. He doesn't ever write down rhymes, but he does memorize entire songs. He said that he started it because he hated carrying around little scraps of paper with his rhymes on them in his pockets. Just because a rhyme isn't on paper doesn't mean it's freed does it? Perhaps I'm misinformed. If I am, please correct me.
