The Streets isnt exactly rap but he does the best tunes i think. +he makes all his own beats (like dizzee on his albums)

there are a few decent rappers like polly skinny man and dizzee rascal... but the Us have way more talented artists like eminem ja rule 50 cent banks jadakiss ludicrus... the uk hip hop scene comes aross to me as garbage... The uk introduce alot of fake rappers who are worthless shit and you just wanna turn off when you listen to them... thats my opinion anyway.

Alot of UK rapper's are just one hit wonder's or they just have dope beat's, not alot of them are actually deeply lyrical, i mean look at Dizzee's shit, not that good lyrically, beat's are mad dope, but i still listen to him.

dude im not complete english i'm also half italian if you must know but I can proudly say I hate to be from the uk. The uk is a shit hole to live... and the people come across as complete assholes to me personally. The us there are lots of really kool people unlike the uk. Plus thats where hip hop came from it was introduced to uk in a later date and we still are making a shit job of the music industry I hate these phony gay ass rappers.

man, America started hip hop, and will finish it.. no other country has no business taking hip hop seriously as a lucrative profession unless they come out here.. the 5 greatest of all time were all from the U.S. the greatest now all come from the U.S, no one over there is better than Nas, Jay-Z, Eminem, Talib Kwelii, Mos Def, Immortal Tech, Benefit, Canibus, Juice, Eyedea, this is real Hip Hop, the U.K is respected for a lot of things, Hip Hop isn't one of them..

Don't get me wrong, there is nowhere in my statment where I said that other people can't practice the art, it's an Art right? But the people who invented it automatically are gonna be more authentic, because they made it, the rules, the elements, and all.. If you make up something and others pick up on it afterwards is cool, but they learned it from us, we're the teachers.. the students could never be better than the teacher.. Even if they gain more style, the original style will always remain, this dude claimed that American music is just Krunk, he obviously hasn't heard Mos Def, Common, Canibus, Rass Kass, or any other real MC's, he needs to get his head out the gutter..

I used to dislike a lot of English rap but recently the stuff thats come out has changed my mind sonofsis is right in what he's saying except for one thing...hip hop isn't American born...it's an African form of music evolved from the original days of Soul, Jazz, reggae a mix of all the African musics before slavery and shit...America is only rated the best at rap because it's been blown up there and U.S rappers have made sure there voices are heard...but there's a hell of a lot more sell outs out there the commercial hip hop has slipped terribly out in the U.S recently while U.K hip hop is still raw and yet to blow up but we on the same level lyrically you jus need to remove that America is the best at everything attitude...the worst US rapper ain't better than the best UK rapper so really there is no this is the best category it's more individual talent not National talent...remember that.
