Topic: "Falling in love" Damn; so much commotion in the streets these days.. Peoples deceitful ways, crime waves, believe it pays.. But see the face, of victems, brought up in disgrace.. Fucking the place, up for most, but loving the waste.. They leave upon us.....Honestly I really dont need.. To see my people get a little cash, then pack up & leave.. I love the streets; and in turn the streets love me.. My community, my hood, how good can this be..? I'd never retreat; even in the darkest of days.. d.j em sce: loved your approach on the topic, found good balance between basic and complex vocab. Emotion was strong, nice imagery... Because she was the culture and I was a master of ceremony But until we finally meet in matrimony, I will forever be lonely ^favo lines Flow was decent (might be improved with multis), you stayed consistent throughout the whole thing,kept me focussed...good job for sure! KO-Cain: very strong topical,loved your twist on the topic.Had your flow and vocab on lock,good multis here and there...Not too muhc imagery with the "down to earth"-attitude which I was definately feeling. Absolutely loved your ending,had inspiring vibe over it and the emotion was raw. Solid drop! i was feelin DJ's drop more. I think he came harder in this one, and played well with tha topic, AND STAYED ON TOPIC THRUOUT THA WHOLE VERSE. KO-yo had a nice verse. but overall i wasnt feelin it homie. u started off clean, it was nice, and creative, and even unexpected, but then after a bar or 2, u just changed yo whole style up, and started to drift off topic. after tha first couple barz, i started to get uninterested, and bored. i think u should work on comin more consistent, but this wasnt tha worst drop i've seen b4, thats why i think this was a pretty good battle. DJ-yo verse was amazin, and interesting. i think u stuck to tha topic way better, and that means a lot in topical battles. i think u came w/ more creativitie, and originailty, but i think u kinda tried too hard on that, but its coo. i also think u came more consistent in this one. yo started off dope, and stayed that way thruout yo whole verse, and that said alot. u even showed more emotion, and character in this one, thats why i had to give u tha vote. overall- this battle was rather close, but i think DJ came out on top in this one. no hate KO, just elevate a lil more family, and come harder next time. Ko-Cain... I like the way you approached this topic, not a way anyone else would approach it... So 10/10 on creativitie... But your shit was crazy with multies as well, which in my opinion, makes it easy to read... Also, your lines werent short, but they werent stretched, which i like... Good emotion and imagery... Overall... 96/100... DJ... I didnt like the way you approached it, i mean, your topical was by no mean bad... But you approached like anyone else would...
