Anyone listen to anything besides RAP.HIPHOP.or RnB?
 

i'm in a few bands, i own a few bands (i book shows , arrange studio times crap like that).i also write lyrics for alot of bands in the Twin Cities... i listen to alot of alternative. indie. music . saves the day, the verdict, d-board,race the sun. the ataris. the format.black maria to name a few..... you guys listen to anything besides rap.hiphop or rnb? ... cuz i think u can learn alot when u explore different styles and what not ....

Shit man, well, going through my CD collection (excluding the rap and R&B albums), I got Bjork, Radiohead, DJ Dara, Alice in Chains, Jamaraquai, and some house mix CD's.

Not so much anymore though..

used to listen to only rock before I got into rap. Now 95% rap I might slip in Rage Against the Machine sometimes tho

ABSOLUTELY...i only listen to about 40% rap actually. I like Grateful Dead, Charlatans, Jefferson Airplane, Bob Dylan, Phish, John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Eric Clapton, and basically any country and classic rock

ya...I turn on the radio soon as I hit home and just listen to different stations...if something's borin on one...then I turn it on to the other..but it's mostly rap for me still..

other than that I do try to give other genre's of music a chance, but i mostly just listen to rap and RnB.

Yeah, actually I love velvet revolver (specially since I likes STP quite a bit) although they're DEF hunting for an alice in chains sound. Still one hell of a super-group though. Haven't seen a compilation liek this since Temple of the Dog. which reminds me of the Pantera days...Man, the shit I still listen to now at least semi-regularly is nothing compared to the array of shit I used to listen to. Damn...memories..
