the first way is old school, the second way is new school...both eras are dope, but new school is much more complex lyrically

garbage and didn't invent shit. But the simple rhyme schemes aren't all that bad. Back when hip-hop was just getting started, the focus wasn't really on the emcee, it was more or less based on the dj so intricate schemes
weren't really a focal point. Emceeing was introduced more as way
to get people in the crowd hyped and for rocking parties, clubs, etc.
It wasn't until the emcee became more of the focus that more
complex schemes were developed. But anyways, its not all that bad
if the content is good because Flow, multies, or whatever shouldn't really
be the deciding factor anyways skill wise. And if you think fab or banks
has dope schemes you are really missing out on tons of others
that are way sicker when it comes to multies. Give Apathy a listen
you will be blown away by his shit, or eyedea, or tondef
