shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiit i thought the song " number 1 spot " i thought that song was tight. Ludacris is 1 of the underated rapper in da rap game

BiZzO 04-18-05 04:41 AM

ohh hell yeah he hella underrated...

pInkMonkeY 04-18-05 05:10 AM

iiii got it freeee.

Symbolic 04-18-05 12:33 PM

Number 10 is the best. The first verse was tight. I liked this album, but I don't think it was his best.

pInkMonkeY 04-19-05 01:44 AM

i liked southern fried intro the best.

Siks J 04-29-05 04:17 PM

this is one of my favorite cds and yes luda is sooooooooooooooo underated
he is one of the few that has SOMETHING to say

Hemz 04-29-05 08:10 PM

The only good ones were Intro, Number 1 Spot, Get Back, Potion, and Virgo.
The rest were pretty much trash and dumb.
Like Pimpin' All Over the World
With the hoes degrading themselves singing like that...
Unnecessary.

All in all, a pretty bad album for Luda, but still worth it because the songs I listed happened to be extremely dope. Others I pretty much despise.

And please don't pretend like Ludacris is a conscious rapper.
He's good at what he does.
But he's not a conscious rapper.
He talks little about anything but gambling, cars, and hoes (or just girls)
And when he does talk conscious for the most part he's very self-centered.
Like Child of the Night.
He's a good rapper.
But he pretty much talks crap.
That's okay though, some crap talk music is fun.
But listen to Mos Def primarily (IMO) if you want real conscious rap.
Jay-Z has a fair amount
Nas has a large amount, although he doesn't have as much as he and other people pretend.
Talib Kweli is good also, but I can't get over the fact that he has such a wack voice.
Common, but he fell off and is re-building currently.
Jadakiss... sometimes.

Mentor 05-06-05 10:17 PM

Pretty dope album..my favorite from Ludacris so far.....I aint really inta all that southern rap though cuz all they do is rap about fancy cars and ho's shakin it and pimps pushin....real rap is bout life and shit like that...Eminem and 2pac is the best when it comes ta real rap shiyt....i'd rate the album a 8/10 really good album for bein ludacris....

MiSk 05-10-05 06:57 PM

i'll give it a 7/10

S.I.M. 05-11-05 07:08 PM

Underrated.....

The Black Plague 05-12-05 04:15 PM

Ok Luda aint that nice, and he really fell off lately.. he used to be dope, Word of Mouf one the best Rap cd's ever... But lately, its like somethin about his voice, and he tries to hard to sound black..

He come tryin to have slang and it don't sound right.. but his lyrics are nice, and he is intelligent..

But he needs more songs like "Large Amounts" where he comes original.. and a lot of his songs weren't as good as u rated..

The intro was the best song, with Put your Money where your mouth is, Yum Yum, and Virgo..

Luda fell off tho, and aint underrated

Cassius_Clay 05-12-05 08:53 PM

Luda's doin his pop thang dawgz....but...he still got tha most animated flow!
Dude's talent'd...songs like 2 m.p.h. are tha shit in tha south!!
I guess its just tha life style down south!

Tha album was worth buying...plus I blew out tha speakers on tha intro!!(DAMN!!)

Damn bruh...u really must not have listened to any of his albums and seen tha growth from Back for tha First time...to...Red Light District. Though he might not be the MOST conscious rapper in tha game, he is definitely conscious and the fact of the matter is those "self-centered" conscious rhymes actually have substance and to add to that, he is a TRUE LYRICIST, one of tha few in tha game.

Carlton Banks 05-21-05 06:57 AM
