My review of "The Interpreter"
The Interpreter
Rated PG-13 Approx. 1 hr 30 minutes Genre: Drama/Suspense Is this movie worth a look? DEFinitely yes! The Interpreter is a movie about a U.N. interpreter, played by Nicole Kidman, who overhears an assassination plot of an African head of state. After reporting this incident to the C.I.A., Kidman's character is in danger for her life by would-be assassins and generally those who don't like her. Sean Penn's character is a C.I.A. agent who is initially hired to investigate Kidman, but ultimately becomes her protecter and friend. Without telling too much, this movie had me on the edge of my seat on numerous occasions. Also, I really enjoyed how much of the film was actually shot inside the U.N. building in New York. I actually learned how they manage to have meetings and panels with so many different languages and countries represented. It was amazing. The Interpreter is directed nicely and will not leak too many clues, unless you are very astute. Trust me, this will be an Oscar contender come next year. It's DEFinitely worth your money. Rating: 3 1/2 stars out of 4. GO SEE IT! |

well he did say legally blind not literally blind...people that are legally blind can still see, just have horrible vision...I heard Jessica Simpson was on the brink of being legally blind then she got laser surgery and now doesn't have to wear contacts or glasses...might wanna check into that...save the money you don't spend on movies to get that worked out :p...and werd, this movie sounds good, I doubt I'll go see if cuz I don't have $7, but yeah, sounds good none-the-less...

My friend is legally blind as well, it's funny because I see better without my contacts than she does with her glasses. I saw some stuff of the movie and it looks like a good one, like to see Nicole Kidman acting so I'll probably check it out
