who does it? what do you tag? What cans do you use?what nozzles do you prefer to write with?

Me I tag and do throw ups..(a quick bombing cause i cant bomb properly) I usually use krylons but If im stealing them Ill use dulux.

My preferd nozzle is a rustoloium or a pink dot..but sometime a german outliner come in handy.

i don't know anything about tagging, i just get the can & spray...

i tag zilla and GMS...GMSi is this faggot as gang at my school "goffstown murda squad" so i tag it every where and get them in trouble.....yea i use paint markers,

I graf ma old alias --> Elusiv G...................I dont tag it....i only used tagging in ma younga days to help wid can control and gain exerience, no i strictly to throw-ups n bombs....altho we b runnin out of space down ere, so ma pieces b gettin smaller....ill c if i can get some pics n shit

I'll use anything I can steal, but i prefer krylon or rusto
as they are less water based than some of the cheap brands.
Paint markers: Deco, streaks, magnums, woodies...
Tips: never stock...

my friend is into taggin, he uses markers specifally for taggin with the thick nib, havnt a clue what theyre called tho1
but any tag name suggestions cuz he needs one!?

Valor basically said it. I had like 80+ diff Krylon cans and a whole lotta nozzles, but when I was moving countries customs didnt let me take em..

The extent of my shit nowadays is tagging random things with a homemade fatty marker while im walking down to KFC.

i am a writer. i've been doing it for about 11 years now.

my favorite cans??? definately krylon, rusto, and montana.

my favorite tips??? hands down.....they've gotta be german fats and german thins. new york fat tips are cool too......but not my main choice for piecing. HOWEVER, a dope writer doesnt need a specialized tip to make a masterpiece, word-ola.

my style of tagging??? honestly, i do it all. i do anything from detailed stickers to quick paint marker hit-ups, to bombs, characters and wildstyles.

also, i've had the honor to work with n.y. graf legend stan 153 (on more than one occasion).

my best quick advice for you...

practice with simple '80's style bubble letters. once you get comfortable with those......start developing them into your own style. over time, you'll gradually find your niche.

in all honesty, trouble with the law comes with the territory.

in some cities they have legal walls for you to hit up on, so ask around. die-hard writers wont hit those walls because they look at it as half-assing and cheating the process, but they are good places to show off your skills and practice your art.

as far as styles to practice with..........i started by using the letters from credits on "the fresh prince of bel-air". i found that they were clean and simplistic. once i mastered those.....i began to complicate 'em up. but dont rush things. graf style takes years to define like any other talent.....so dont feel rushed or frustrated with your work/progress.

my advice...
if your really interested, purchase a graf mag or graf video and do your research.

Sv's right. If you want to write you're going to run the risk
of get popped. The punishment is different for lots of places depending
on the city's policies, tolerance, and/or the activity of writers in the area.
It can range anywhere from a misdemeanor to a felony for freights and
other such mediums. I would suggest getting up in low risk areas if
you're starting out and aren't paticularlly quick at your craft. As far as cost, i would say there is little to no cost involved unless you want to get paint, markers, etc through legal means which could be pricy. However most writers just rack all the above, including me personally.

i do it all ..but just not on walls n shit..i aint dat 'adventurous" yet...but i just practice taggin on paper and my boyfriend's room walls lol he lets me do that..but yea..i tag up anything and everything that comes to mind which means something..i've tagged my name..his name...statements...quotes...different words.....anything...i love drawing too like drawing famous artists ...i drew jay z....tupac....trina..working on Camron right now ...

werd if you are interested in graffing you must be able to understand the consequences in graffing or getting caught....

brawls (fighting with rivals),police, graff in alotta areas is a felony,getting shot by someone who hates and doesnt believe the true meaning of graff which is art...
