Am I the only one on this site who cares about the voice of a rapper? Cuz I see a lot of yall runnin around sayin people are so dope but they sound like 13 year olds having orgasms on the mic, or Mort from Family Guy and shit. Voice is one of the most important aspects IMO. Now obviously I care about flow, and presence and lyrics, but y'all just be on these guys (Non-Phixion, Aesop Rock, Tonedeff) nuts.

alot of these kats suck at aduio just cuz of that, but at least they dotn try to change it like alot of katz on here trying to make there voices deep

Thats one of the main reasons i dont do audio, cuz im not sure how my voice would sound..so i just say ahh fuck it, just keep it to text

They can't, and if they tried they'd probably take away a attribute like their flow etc.

So not everyones made for audio?...but than there are rappers who are sucessful that sound funny..jadakiss...without the studio and voice amplifiers and shit that changes his voice he would sound like shit, same as eric sermon and others

There's a lot of ways to switch up a voice. You can tighten your throat when you spit to get more of a raspy sound and shit. And depending or how much energy you put in, can really change your voice. Anyone I let listen to my shit in *real life* doesn't even believe its me on the track but I switch my voice up when I spit. And honestly, I always thought I had a ehhhhhh voice but basically the compliment I get the most now is "You got a tight voice" so if you wanna spit, I say go for it.

I do care, but I look at lyrics more. However, if someone's voice annoys me I tell em they are still good if they are, but I won't buy their albums. Basically, I look at lyrics and flow, not their voice.
