No mic under $1000 touches the Apex 460. Woooord. And it comes with its own preamp. (I still use a second preamp, but thats cause I have a DOPE preamp I run everything through.... ie; the studios haha. word)

If you could read, you'd see the Apex 460 shits on any mic under $1000. However I did NOT say I paid $1000 for it. You can get it for $125-$150 if you shop around. It retails for like $190. And one on one against the rodes, it's still better.
