I seriously doubt anybody is stating the internet is totally fucking up the rap buisness.

Net rap is kind of homo some times..

Like its good when your learning cause its easy and fun..
But once you get better you start to realise that the styles a lot of people use are kinda weak & nothing jaw dropping by any means.. The nets only weak cause its full of kids who aint out there in the real world and by the time they do grow up, they get over the net.. Just one of those things man..

Now a days for me elevation comes from listenin to music made by professionals to gain ideas of how to push myself further.. Thats sorta why I dont listen to many net cats most of the time.. Cirtain net cats I def would listen to tho.. Just not the majority..

Net rap is dope. It has made many people famous. Just look at Immortal Technique and Cannibus and shit. The internet made them to be what they are. So yeah, internet rap is Ill and can get you places in the music industry.

Net rap isn't that great to tell you the truth... Sure it gets you better, but no one ever really gets noticed online... I think record labels should look online though, every vet on this site is better than people like 50 Cent, and Chingy and shit... We just don't have that mainstream appeal (thank god).

not a great percentage of people on the net get noticed. they may get a following, but that has its limitations. you can only go so far on the net. but its good for writing, critique and techniques though.

i dont really elevate anymore with the net...i listen to CD's and good mainstream rappers....and just try to listen and pick up certain things now....

net rap was cool when i first started....now i just use it for people to listen to my music...and maybe to get tips from good audio heads...but thats it...
