You need to get a good condensor mic/ preamp/mixer/or phantom power cord a nice soundcard and all the cords to connect it to your computer

basically 200$ if you're going for the cheap stuff.

umm..no. WTF are Phantom Power cords?? A power source for a condenser mic isn't neccessarily a pre-amp/interface. Man, just...no.

other good shits r audio technicas but they cost alot too...

Listen to a track like "Doomsday Vs. The Q" where there's moments that there's no beat and you'll hear hella hiss. you hear it on some of the other tracks too, but you hear some loss in clarity in my bass on all the tracks toward the bottom (the earlier tracks). Then listen to a track like "If You" (or any one of thme above that) which was the first one recorded with the 990 an you can hear the difference in clarity immedately. And that's just as MP3's. It's way clearer as AIFF's and wav's.
