Im lookin to buy one...why are IPODS so popular?

I mean, I'm looking at Radio Shack and Best Buy's web sites and they many other brands ranging from 99 to 500 dollars. WHich type is the best?

Is there something better about IPODS that make them such a popular choice?

Largest right now is the 60GB Ipod Photo...

which can hold up to 20,000 songs I believe. Possibly only 10,000 tho...

but plus pics and shit.

I Am Very Satisified With It, Can Hold A Maximum of 10,000 Mp3 Songs, Has Great Equalizing In The Sound, and Is Just A Great Overall Player.

I Would Suggest This To Anyone.

Word, ipods just have more memory an you can have more file types on youre playlist.

easy to use, easy to find accessories specifically for ipods..

the reason ipods are popular is because of there easy scroll circle. they have patented that method and no other company does anything similar accept for the zen micro (accept it goes up and down;instead of the circle)....i have a zen micro 5 GB and that seems to do the job it was abouy $210

wrong mp3 players come in different storage amounts i.e. 250mb-60GB

I-Pods are just better.

I decided on this one from Radio Shack...1 GB hard drive space

something not mentioned about ipods is the customer service u get if something fucks up...most times they'll just replace it with no questions asked.....i've gotten 2 free pairs of headphones since december...but u can get more shit........

also, i have an itrip which is the dopest accessory for any mp3 player, ever

Never got a MP3 to damn expensive......i would just rather burn a CD for free....haha

A Cd player plays CDs...a CD can hold only about 20-30 tracks...then, you have to switch CDs to hear a different mix


an MP3 player can hole upwards of 20,000 songs all at your finger tips


The same way u got the songs to burn to CD, I can put them on my MP3 player for "free"

Part of the reason why Ipods are hugely popular is because they've became literally a fashion accessory. And Apple's designers put out some of the most innovative designs out there. The design is small, sleek, and the scroll wheel is easy to use compared to a lot of the mp3 players from other companies.

P.S... for those who can't afford an Ipod, refer 5 friends to freeipods.com. I got an ipod a couple months ago from them, so they are legit if you are still wondering.
