umm lets see i set up the thread over 15 minutes ago.....so i started typing my verse ....then you did not accept and pm'd me saying....im gonna set it up making the checkin and drop time sooner....so i continue typing my verse....and yet still no thread set-up so now you pm me once again saying you set it up....so i did and by that time i had finished my verse. now your made because im gonna beat you. well too bad. it was your fault for delaying as much as you did.

hell yeah, he's one of the only ones... Big L, canibus, nas and sometimes jay-z has non-prewritten punches... almost ALL of eminem's "freestyle" punches are pre written... im sure there's more famous artists that can freestyle punches... not to brag but i can do it too... its not gonna be anything like "bet ur lyrics'll jump off tha track like racing cars" but it'll be somethin to at least get a giggle off of... ppl who think its hard to freestyle punches, the thing is (and i know this from experience) the more you practice freestyling, the better you will get... u elevate just from tha practice

Man, now that we're on the topic, how the hell do you "pre-write" anyway? Write something BEFORE you write it?

Well depends on how you classify prewriting.

If you mean writing something completely before hand. And switching some stuff around to work against your opponent, then i feel you. I think thats retarded, true emcee's can freestyle or at least come up with something on the spot.

With me, what ill do is start writing once the battle is set up and if i got enough time ill go look for some personals otherwise i just try to think of witty lines and then copy it from notepad or whatever and paste it in the battle.

Pre-writing in a text battle is writing before you check in basically..

i know freestyling u can drop dope punches cuz i been in freestyle cyphers for years
im not saying its impossible....

im saying its alot harder to freestyle a quality punch than to write one
and more props to those that can freestyle....

That's what you guys call prewriting?? I can tell next to none of you actualyl spit live. what you call "prewriting" is know as "generics" in the real world. What Prewriting ACTUALLY is is when someone shows up to a freestyle battle with something that's obviously written.
