you do realize that alot of todays music is played off of gospel and blues *thinks actually almost all of it...gospel music can be a good listen if your open to it... if not then you leave half-assed immature responses like yours

To be on topic, I really do despise it, due to the repitition. No originality, at all. Religion branches out onto so many other things, so they should broaden their horizons on topics.

Most Gospel artist make hooks outta Bible scriptures as well as their verses.

If you listen to Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, and a few others and compare.. They do not sound repetitive... They do ultimately sing bout thanking God and giving him praise but they have their own style.

But for Mass Choirs they may sound repetitive because many of them use old songs and make albums outta them and do them a little differently than another choir may have.

Ya, Christian rap is good, but some Christian rock bands are worth checking as well. I don't like Gospel, cuz it usually gets old after a few months. But like Casting Crowns have good lyrics, nice metaphors and such. All depends on what you like. You want different things, go for rock or rap, want constant praise to God, go to Gosepl.
