My story is way back at the beggining of Grade 9, I watched 8-Mile and I wanted to rap...so me and a couple of my friends were just screwin around with it, just writin shit down....like the WACKEST shit I swear..

But anyway...

My friend Faron was also in the craze...and then him and Justin told me about a site on the internet where you can rap battle and people vote on it. I was sooo down for the idea...so sure enough, I went to RB for the first time...and I signed up as MC-CMRuffRyder...Lmfao...I was at my grandparents' house and I was screwing around so I wanted posts...I made a thread, and filled 3 pages of the same post over and over again...this was like 4 days after I signed up. I already lossed my first battle...and alas, The End bans my ass. IP is banned at my grandparents' house...

So then I re-signed up at my house as Gangsta One. I used this name for about a year...that's when I was really into Text...and then alas I was tired of G1 cause he was hated on so much...so then I made a new account under "E-Lyrical", which I lossed 3 battles on in like a day...so yet again a new account...this time it was "Limited Edition". I used it for a while...one a couple of battles on RB got into an audio crew cause I made beats with Hip-Hop Ejay...thats where I met Carson Jet for the first time.

And then I realized how gay RB was, and saw how the site split, so I came to RV under the name Limited Edition...and now I am going into Grade 12. I was the only one out of us who really stuck with it...

And that's how I was introduced to internet rap boards.

Personally I was messing around with lyrics about 5 or 6 years ago and I knew about forums, so I looked up to see if there was any rapping forums that would make me a better rhymer and I found some old peice of shit thats shut down years ago and I stayed there for a while..

Lost my first 5 battles then started winning and didnt stop winning basically.. I've lost battles since then, but not many at all out of the hundreds of battles I've done..

I also used to jus go by my real name on rap forums "Alex"......

None of that "watching 8 mile made me wanna rap" sort of cliche bullshit..

I think I was 13 and I rapped on and off. I was looking for some cassidy battles cause I heard he was nice. I googled "rapbattles". Then rapbattles.com popped up. It had two options. Rapbattles original said "If it aint broke why fix it" and shit. Lol But I went to relaunched cause it was new. Then I became dope and shit :)

I can't remember too well. I believe I was inspired by Eminem, and I don't remember how I found out about internet rapping. I was a wack textcee at rapboards.com, then one day it stopped being a rap battle site and just a rap news site. I went under the name 'Vibrating', then got tired of the dildo jokes and turned to 'Resonance'. Then I came here, elevated, and starting eating Indeph.

I was bored, and I had been wanting to rap, but I didnt know how the internet shit worked. I just wanted to go online and battle people and shit, so I went to yahoo and typed in something along the lines of "freestyle rap battles" and I started at some gay site thats been shut down for years. Then I went to RB way before it became RV. Finally, one day I went to the site, and it said they were splitting up an shit...So first I wanted to stick with RB cuz I liked it, but then I wanted to give the new shit a try. And thats what I did. I've had like...500000 names over my net career. lmfao

but yo, I wanted some mixtapes when i first got my comp, went to mixtapes.com and it led me to a site called rapnetwork, i was getting music from there and shit. then i wanted to battle on the net and shit and typed in rapbattles.com in google. and there was a site called...Rapbattles.com. i came to relaunched and shit cuz it sound iller, "Relauched or Original" of course i'mma pick relaunched. i used to just come here to see the "illest punchline thread" in hhs, then i registered, won my first 2 battles, then went on a losing streak, which caused me to turn into the asshole i am now. word.

I dated this guy who was really into writing and stuff, he was on some Dutch boards and stuff. Then he dumped me and I thought: if he can do it, I sure as hell can. Dutch boards became boring so I searched for American/English ones and found Rapbattles.

i was writing on and off when i was early 14 (im 16 now) but i just wrote thew stupidest shit ever lol like "i went ta school actin like a fool, and i never was cool" some stupid ass elemantary bullshit and i kinda quit round the beginning of 15 when i first started 9th grade...and where i'm from NOBODY raps but me...so no one ever read my shit besides my ma who would stumble across of them and make fun of me cuz they was so wack lol...anyway around november of last year...i was lookin around at diffrent sites and i happened ta be at eminemlounge.com and i searched on "rap's topsites" and i didnt really know there was such a thing as rapboards...but i found some off of there and i thought it was pretty coo ta drop ur own shit so i joined up some stupid ass site thats shut down now..hiphopbattles.co.uk...lol and i dropped some of the worse text u can ever dream of...will i went back ta raps topsites thang where i found that site and i came across this site...it was bout a month after and at the time the real shit was off and poppin no wack ass newbie shit or nuthin it was back when this site was dope...and so i signed up got my "create a rapper" or whateva that thang is and i dropped my first open mic on here "perverted freestyle" lol really bad shit i swear...and bout twice-once a day the world will see a new o.m from me like literally 24/7 and thats the only place i dropped..back then i was known as "hood_dawg" lol such a frontin name...and that was back in the dayz rv was FILLED wit beef and NOK was still alive and reppin to its fullest...but after the crew left o.m kinda just got boring and lazy all newbies started fillin the site and dope lyricists all left practiculy and nobody was leavin feed on ur shit and besides i kinda outgrew o.ms as i elevated and so i started focusing on those mixs i used ta drop on the song forum...thats when i started goin by the name "straight aim" and i dropped some hot ish but i just wasnt gettin anywhere i needed ta start elevatin in spittin fo real..so thats when i bought my $30 lil radioshack puter mic that makes me sound like im speakin outta an alarm clock radio....and i dropped a few wack shit and tried defendin my shit as much as i can but i still was provin wrong....and so i just never dropped anythang and just recorded offline and got better wit flow and everything so now i changed my name ta "Alpha Assassin" and i ordered a $300 mic that i only got for a 100 and all the shit with it off of musciansfriend...i got it all now i just gotta try ta get it all working and once i do im gon be droppin fire....and thats where i am now

I used to write poems and shit whenever I was bored or I felt like it. I was like 9 then. Then when I was 11 or 12 I was sick with glandular fever or some shit so my mom had to take me to her work which was a bank in La Costa... It was pretty boring there... Anyway, after that when we were walking back to the car I saw some guys rapping and I was like dope.

And I listened to rap, funk and reggae a lot. So I was like.. hmm ill give it a go. And during this time I was still into writing poems, but after rap hit me I wrote lyrics instead. Then I used to free to myself when I was walking to school or lying in bed and stuff.

Then in high school I met some guys that rapped as well and I used to kick it with those guys... I think I came onto rap sites when I was 15. I was searching for rap battle videos and RB came up... I chose relaunched despite it looked gay with those dots.

And yeah. Then when RBR changed to RV I was on RV...

Pretty much my story.
