ok, am goin to florida on friday for 2 weeks... n i wanna buy a psp, how much are they? dollar wise and what games are worth buying for it

they pretty expensive a used one goes for 200 dollars....and unused like 350

save the money for the 360 or ps3, psp's not worth it

They cost $249.99 american. GAMES are not region locked. If you buy your PSP in the US and then buy games in the UK they'll work. UMD movies ARE region locked like DVDs though. So you cant play American movies on a UK PSP... But you can play UK DVDs on Jap PSPs and vice versa because they are both region 2.

GTA LCS comes out on October 3rd or 4th apparently...

For other games, Ridge Racer and WipeOut are your best bets for racing. If you're after a sports game, theres plenty and theyre just like the console versions. Tony hawk underground 2 remix is DOPE if you havent played the console version to death.

Lumines is the best game out for it right now, but its a puzzle game and most people dont like those. Ive played it though and its DOPE.

Metal gear acid isnt like the console versions, its a card game. Some people reckon its dope, some people reckon it sucks... Ill probably get MGA2 when it comes out.

Dont get coded arms, untold legends, or death Jr. They all suck cock.

And I suggest you get some shit to protect it as well. The best case is Logitech's playgear pocket. And the best screen protectors are pelican and hori.

The 32MB stick that comes with it is enough for game saves. But if you want to play music, ripped movies, and home made applications on your PSP youll want to get a bigger one. 256MB is reasonably priced and enough for music. 512 is a good size, but 1GB are dope... But the 1GB ones can cost upwards of $100.

Also if youre buying a memory stick, get a sandisk one not a sony one. Sandisks are cheaper and faster.

if you like nfs theres a new game coming out real soon called nfs most wanted. It looks way better than rivals.

But if you really want a nice racing game id wait for gran turismo 4 mobile. It looks amazing... as good as if not better than the ps2 version.

I just got my psp today with lumines and tony hawk so first hand I can say they are both SICK games. you wouldnt go wrong buying either one of them.

You can play it when you're flying, but wait until the attendant says so... they should make an announcement of when you can and cant use electrical devices. Its during take off and landing.

America is NTSC... There is no difference between american psps and UK psps or any of them. All NTSC and PAL are is basically how your TV reads shit. PAL has better quality. But its only to do with TV based shit, it doesnt affect PSPs.

I know a guy over here who bought his PSP in japan, buys movies from the UK (cos same region as japan), bought his first games from the US off ebay and then when it came out over here bought a couple games at his local eb.

For real games arent region locked.

yer man, imma be gettin a PSP for xmas probly. i didnt know so many films were comin out for it though! theres absolutely shit loads. also to E.C., i'd get midnight club 3:dub edition over need for speed as if its anythin like the original ps2 version then it shud be better, thats just my opnion though, some people think NFS is better. dynasty warriors will get really repetitive i think. Medieval's a decent game 2 get aswell.

Yeah apparently midnight club 3 isnt a bad game... but the loading time for every race is always over 1 minute... usually 2-3 minutes. which sucks.

yer it is quite long on the PS2, aint sure if that'll change for PSP or not but hopefully it will lol
