My thoughts on Kanye defending gays
 

Now...I'm not trying to state that I'm homophobic.I'm just trying to state my thoughts on how Kanye was trying to defend homosexuals on MTV.

Now..Kanye claims gays today..are treated like how blacks were before.I don't think that's a precise comparision.

First off...when your black...you can't hide it(excluding surjery).It's your skin color.It's with you forever.And when your'e gay..you can still hide it and tell people "naw man..I ain't gay..T'm str8"...in order to aviod being ridiculed.So gays have one advantage already.
Second..blacks were both verbally and physically abused.Gays today are only verbally abused(yes..some are physically abused..but not always).Blacks were beaten down..some even died from it.Gays get cursed out and called a "faggot"..and they start complaining.
Third..blacks had absolutely no support or rights.Blacks were slaves.They were taken out of their homes and forced into labor by the whites.They were forced to be looked at as inferiour.They had absoulutely zero support from anyone.The president himself had slaves in his household.
.............Today..gays have all these orginizations and shit.Remeber when eminem got in trouble for MMLP..they had all these gays protestants and shit?That proves gays have rights and support.Blacks didn't have this shit.Gays are allowed to press charges on someone for assualt or w/e and get a fair trial.They are allowed to live in a house and work regurally and shit like everyone else.

So in conclusion..gays do have it hard in community.But to say they are treated the same way as blacks were before..is stupid.

Well yea...there's nothing wrong with him defending them...but the thing is..how can he compare the treatment of gays to blacks before?it's not comparable.That's like comparing an X-rated porno flick to one of Britney Spears video.To defend them..i think he SHOULD be accurate.That was ignorant of Kanye in my opinion.
