im plottin getting dreads..my hair is past my shoulder and now i want something to do with it besides getting braids and ponytails..im white so my hair is thin and kinda curl at the end...so all the females at school play in it{anyone with long hair knows what im saying} so today this girl offers to do them..i wanted them but how you take care fo them and what they gotta do to get them?

you need pomade to keep the dreads in place, and you need someone to tightly twist them for you, also hairspray works well, but not the kind with alcohol as this tends to attract bugs.

They'll only take a few months to lock up and start looking cool if you take care of them nicely.

But go for it. Im still contemplating whether to dread my hair when its grown.. i love dreads, but braids/ long hair etc you can change easily and stuff

yea i kno what u mean by all the gurls play w/ tha long hair, last year i had my hair down to my shoulders too, all tha bitches wanna peice of u wen u got hair... i had heard that ur spose to use beezwax to get ur dreds to stay, im not too sure... you can really mess up ya hair if u dont do em rite... also, u'll look retarded if u let em grow out, so after awhile u gotta shave ya head, so b sure u realllly wanna do it first aight? thats my advice... but yea dreds are dope..

cos i knew of some boy who had the longest locks on any boy in croydon and he ended up on the run from the police....he had to chop them off cos he was the only one who fit the description of having dreads like that...so don't do nuthin bad cos the police will find you quick
