aight i type, but dont have printer, so i caqnt print them out, and now im fucked becuase i cant read it while i spit, and i dont feel like memorizing thme all,

so do you type or write?

I used to always type. Then I got a virus and had to dump my cpu.. so now I write.

there's a thread liek this like 3 weeks old, but I used to write, but if I'm home I'll type. I think way after than I write so I lose a lot of shit in the writing process, not to mention the faster I write, the sloppier my hnadwriting, the more I lose. AND it's harder to make edits, notes and alterations on writtens vs some typed stuff.

So yeah, prefference: type.
Worse case: written or just jot down a skeleton and free it.

A lot of the time when I write lyrics I am extremily badly dosed up on a number of narcotics and alcaholic beverages..

So my handwriting just isnt ledgable anyway...

oh yeah I forgot, I also read my lyrics straight form my LCD monitor while spittin the tracks. Got it's ups and downs vs reading it from the book, but overall, I still take type. I can just do more and do it faster and better. I can't argue with that.

yeah thats what i mean, i cant see the screen through my wind screen so im basically blind, i can barely make out the words, and i dont wanan be recording with my head turned left or right

i type.... i find it easier.. i struggle to read my handwriting sometimes

i allways write, allways carry a notebook with me incase i think of suttin to write.. and if u dont memorise your lyrics atleast somewhat, your emotion wont get its full potential and come out as strong as it could do

Now that I have the correct set up I have to write my lyrics in a note book because I can't memorize a damn thing.

neither does writing so i don't know what he's talkin bout either

al it does is take more time and you forget what u was gonna write..

but. whe i got bed i have a pad beside me incase i think of summet so i can write it down incase i forget it in the mornin

I write all my songs.. yellow pad is usually what I use.. an I re-write it before I spit so its easy to read if I havent memorized it first. A few songs Ive freestyled which usually comes out nice an more natural an then use it as a base for the song, then fix it up on paper after.

My brother, who Texted first, types all his shit then prints it to spit it lol.

Lol. That's what's up. I type hella fast, but I prefer writing lyrics on college-ruled paper, re-writing it over onto another line only helps you memorize it faster.

I type when i got my laptop, but I got like 30 coil notebooks in the car, under the bed, in the bathroom, in the kitchen, at my girls house, at work, etc etc... If I typed it, then I just memorize it, or copy it to notebook when I want to spit in the booth. And I dont hold my notebook, I got a music stand. word to your mothers...

but when im typing it, in order for me to actually think of anything decent...
i have to type it in a blank aim box.
none of the microsoft word shit works for me...it always has to be in an empty aim box, i dont know why.

i memorize my verses pretty quickly too, so when im recording em i can just spit it from my head for the most part.
but i have a laptop so ill bring it into my closet and set it up on a stool in front of me just in case i need to quickly glance at the lyrics.

Yeah, I'm kinda witcha there with the IM window, just I'm the exact opposite. I can type anything up just about anywhere, but the big-ass blank canvas of a new Word file is intimidating as shit for a min till I start chisling away at it, and before you know it - a song is born. Yay.
