Nah that is the main controller... youll find that pretty much all of the games made for revolution will use the pointer and analog stick attachment alone.

The purpose of the normal controller it slides into is mostly playing the back catalogue of n64, gamecube, snes and nes games available by download to the revolution.

But yeah that remote thing is the actual controller... thats half the reason im buying it.

i aint too sure about that controller to be honest; looks like it might get a bit frustrating to use at times. but the console looks real good though.

I actually think the opposite... have you ever played an FPS on PS2 or Xbox? shit is frustrating as fuck... at least with this you can aim properly.

yeh i see your point about FPSs cos the amount of controls does reduce the level of enjoyment, but i guess i'll just have to try it out n see if i like it

oh shit that remote controll thing'll be dope. Its 85685464568 possiblities for new gameplay. Kinda like what metal gear solid did for vibrating controllers. Good ol nintendo. I might get it, but damn I want MGS4 alot :(

Yeah I think the games will be great...

All the big name developers have shown a lot of support. Saying shit like its a real innovation, and that the new controller will be amazing to develop for.

This is people like the makers of MGS4, square-enix, THQ, etc etc... pretty much every company.

Even Sony gave nintendo a sick compliment.

Microsoft, typical americans they are, gave a bit of a double sided compliment... saying the games industry will develop in new areas and shit because of nitendos "attempt" at innovation...

Halo took me to frustration the one and only time I played it on xbox.

Then when I bought halo on PC, since it was apparently "good", it took me a week to get bored of it. I dont see what the big deal is. I spent more time playing a single half life mod than it took me to finish halo and get bored of multiplayer...

i still enjoy to play halo, just cause its a different shooter, and the story is pretty cool

Yeah thats often the initial reaction... But when you think about it, it really is revolutionizing the industry.

PS3 and xbox 360 have better graphics, sure... But its still the same games. Maybe longer, different story and content... With nintendo's new controller, games will be more fun I reckon.

So ill buy one.. if it flops, it flops, but it will be good whether people buy it or not.
