I've thought this for so long, just felt it was un-nessecary to bring the topic up. But seriously, I have to say the whole gangsta image when you think about it is so played and un-cool, out-dated and straight up generic..

Cats go so fucking crazy over trying to fit that steriotype.. For people living in that world, thats just a way of life.. But why the fuck would ANYONE who doesent live in that scene want to be anything like those people... From a real world perspective... Its not like the shit is even that cool.....

You want my opinion? I respect people who act normal, work a job and party hard in their free time WAY more than any un-employed bum ass welfare homos that cant even support themselves in modern society without carrying guns and repping gangs..

But I do think that people trying to un-nessecarily rep that image because they think it makes them cool.... Are played out and need to be humiliated badly.

this one kid his father was a judge and his mother was a docter there was a group of kids with parents in jobs similar actually it was the whle school except for a few of us and those kids thought they where gangsta living in there 5 bedroom houses, lol fuck we would just watch them and say
"they wouldnt last oen day in a regular school"
they would wear there pink rags and pink shoe laces talking about how gangsta they are....i was just like wtf

i eventually was kicke dout of that school and i was glad becuase those kids wehre mad fake

my cousin is exactly like that true we grew up int he ghetto and whatever but he hasnt lived here for like a long time he lived int he good area for basically the last 7 years he use to get good grades then started to hang out with me and my friends started getting bad now he thinks hes a hard core ass gangbange he even changes his voice when he talks, LOL everone wonders why he talks liek that....the funny thing is he aint ghetto and hes whie and intalian and tells everyone hes mexican

Imma be str8 up real and honest. I'm not a gangsta (whoaaa real revelation there). I was born in the inner-city, raised there for 7 years, then moved to the suburbs where I've been ever since. I'm college educated and going back for more degrees and education. I work a job I enjoy (for now) and make a pretty decent living. I work within an urban community, so I see a lot of what I came out of growing up. So, in a way, I can identify with that "rebel" spirit, but have decided to make more of my life. I try to be an example to those around me and lead by that example. I personally find the whole "gangsta" mojo entertaining. It's almost like watching a horror movie. When the killer chops someone's head off, it's funny.

Yea dats true as hell, but from 5th-8th grade i went to this diverse school it was so many people that thought they were gangtas, but there were some real ones 2, the fact is there always gonna be a wangsta somewhere

The school I work at is a private school... and I wish it wasnt. I hate the kind of kids you're talking about. I see kids at lunch time having arguments about who is the poorest or who is worse off. Saying things like
"You have your own car... im obviously poorer than you"
.. then "omg your house has a fountain, and my parents gave me that car, it was my moms old one?!"
.. "Its still a car. My parents hate me they would never buy me a car, my dad always makes me mow the lawn and do my homework. Hes such a fag"

They really have never seen a hard days work in their life. Let alone know what its like to actually be poor. Im not thug or gangsta... and im not poor anymore... But I feel bad for the people that actually are.

Theres a dope new kid in grade 12 I was taking around the school today. He came from Kenya... His dad has 2 wives, and he has 8 brothers and sisters. Back in kenya, he had stolen food, beaten people, been involved in riots, seen people die... His family barely had enough money to live off. Hes at the school because of donations people have made. But hes one of the nicest people you can find where I work... He doesnt go around acting all hard and shit. And the reason he doesnt, is he hasnt been exposed to those shit stereotypes. Hes ashamed that his life has been like that...
