.......that kids think structure has anything to do with audio.

when I write I could write it in one sentance and still know were to pause spit change flow.

I was chilling with these cats the other day,and they gave me a concept they wanted me to have a verse on(they were just abotu to lay the track) so i sat down and started writing,half way thru this one kid lokked over my shoulder and tryd to tell me i stretched a bar and it would work right when spitting, i told the cunt to shut up and wait till I spat.

it really makes me laugh how kids can seriously think that structure on the paper will effect how you spit. Most godd emcees know how they are to spit it the secnd they write it.

Well...it's not structure that counts...

it's syllable count. Your bars could be stretched as fuck, but if there are enough syllables...it works.

i could write my tracks like this and still know were to flow and shit, structure simply helps the writer to spit it easier. But in the end structure isnt the main key to dropping a track it simply help you be able to read it to spit it easier.

i know what you saying.........i only write lyrics for tracks with a visual structure outta habit, thinkin about it now.i just subconsciously do it

yeh,thats like me. i just naturally write with some sort of structure.definitly. But its weird that kids think the text has alot to do witht he song. Like if your handwriting is messy it aint goign to be a good song. 0_o

it' dont really matter how you write on paper. long as you lay down fire. and its on beat

but good structure is good for if you droppin 16 then you just gotta drop 16 lines...if the structure looks like ass then you gotta look all over the place for each bat.

that's where the issue of bar/line comes in

when I say bar, I mean how many words you can get in 4 counts of the beat...1.2.3.4...then back to 1

so...16 "bars" would be how many lines you can fit in 64 ticks of the beat

that's usually 16 lines...but if I hit "RETURN" in the middle of the line, that makes it look longer...like you said, you know where the end of the "line" is...so it doesn't matter

for the sake of reading lyrics, it looks better to structure it like a textcee would
