It was on B.E.T...On that show with tigga n' that one girl (not 106), I heard they were talking about how nas will be the newest signing by Jay-Z to the roc I believe...or maybe it was def jam in general?

MexicanGuy89 10-30-05 09:18 PM

I've heard of this too I'm prett sure. Don't remember where though.

Shazz 10-30-05 09:28 PM

More like Nas is dissing Jayz if you heard the song Ether

PoLiFicK 10-30-05 09:43 PM

its to defjam...not the rocafella

chip 10-30-05 09:54 PM

yea i heard about this......... Nas and Jay officially squashed their beef, and Nas signed to Def Jam...... wouldn't it be crazy to have a collab with Nas and Jay again?

DoContinue 10-30-05 10:28 PM

nas is signed w/ columbia records... but im not sure how long his contract is... i wouldnt want him to sign w/ jay tho... bc, that makes jay his boss... then it'd be harder to argue that nas is better...

ksr 10-30-05 10:39 PM

jay, nas, n kanye on 1 label....
3 best rappers of all time imo (dont argue, thats wut i think, n im not gonna argue it wit ne1 else)
hope it happens

Chris Stylez 10-31-05 12:24 AM

Yeah i herd it on BET Style.....Dont really mean much to me....But it would be cool to see them together.....and yea was kinda stupid of you mentioning That Ether song......And yeah i know this is probely old But have any of yall herd the song with Nas Dissing 50 cent that was supposely suppose to make Ether look like childs play because i have herd nothing about it since Nas supposely made that statement.

Indeph 10-31-05 08:50 AM

It's to def jam

Labels 10-31-05 09:13 AM

Dat would be throwed, Nas--- Jay Z, that would be just as good as seeing the late but great Pac and Biggie colab

WhoAmI 10-31-05 02:10 PM

Nas might as well sign cos it may be more money than staying at his current label...

but if esco and jigga ever did fall out again that would be a serious personal though but it's a risk he might as well take

DoContinue 10-31-05 07:49 PM

i just think that it wouldnt be like they're equals if nas makes jay z his boss....

Labels 11-01-05 11:01 AM

I dont know i think there both men. And i heard the other day in Mdison Square GArden Jay Z brought Nas out and did a collab on stage , and supposedly the beef is over.

Nynth Degree 11-01-05 02:48 PM

If Nas signed with Jay, it would be fucking wack. I'd much rather have them put out more tracks like "Takeover" and "Ether".

Past Tense 11-01-05 03:30 PM

i could not picture Nas on any of those jay or kanye type beats.....if nas signs with them he will problay go real mainstream and start doing stupid songs so please dont let nas sign wit them

:nono:

PrahJect 11-01-05 09:23 PM

thatd be nice there...but what happend to the murder inc deall..and yo nas, kanye, jay on a label..damn..shits hot

What kinda nas fan are you? Nas Columbia deal has been up for months now. Nas is a free agent. And I heard about this also. This would be tight, but everybody knows Jay is better, but it would be nice to have to "good lyricst" on the same tracks for once.

Well Nas was a guest appearance on Kanye's album, so that's different.

Nah, not really, cause he said he cant see Nas on a jay-z or Kanye west type beat. Kanye made that "WE MAJOR" beat, so wouldnt it be tha same?

Rob Case 11-02-05 12:11 PM

Nas --> Roc
.
.

Because he said that in reference to Nas signing to a label where Kanye makes most of the beats. Nas being on Kanye's album is not the same as Nas signing to the same label as Kanye.

Illmatic was dope, It Was Written was dope, I Am... was dope, Nastradamus was trash, Stillmatic was decent, God's Son was trash, and Street's Disciple was average. Seems like he's fallen off to me.

Trash to Decent that's getting back up, not ot mention that God's Son was great and was better than street's disciple Stillmatic is close to a classic and even though it ain't an album the lost tapes is classic material...at worst he had two average-good albums the rest wasdope except for one below average...Nastradamus is quite the underrated

chronix 11-05-05 06:46 PM

Kanye doesn't even produce most the beats on def jam....and Nas isn't as good as he once was, but he's still sick....Kinda like Jay-Z. N' I don't think Jay-Z'd diss Nas again or vica-versa.

Sik Wit It 11-11-05 10:32 AM

Nas better not sign with Jay-Z.

C-Hood 11-11-05 12:25 PM

this would be real nice for this to happen...to of the industries most respected mc's...haha if they actually happens it will be somethin to remember

Sik Wit It 11-11-05 05:52 PM

Meh, if it did happen, it will just be stupid.
