When do you have too do it??? i mean see theres some real young cats on here recording...dont ur parents hold you back? do you have too do it when there not there or somthing...its really gettin too me

wen im at home.. i need it to be empty.. i use a condenser mic so i need it as quiet as possible to ensure i dont need to do alot of noise reduction

word if its not quiet then your track comes out fucked....and no one wants to sit around and be quiet especially if you have it takes you like 30 takes to nail it.

yeah word i have that problem..but i alwasy get pissed off when the people in my house just sit there when i'm tryin too record and then they'll go open the fridgarator and what not man it gets me way mad....i got really pissy before school yesterday i go from 3:30-5 in the afternoon and everyone was in the kitchen when unfortunitly all the equptment is and it ust pisses me off they cant have enough respect too go too there rooms and shut up for like 20 mins

NM got it on point.... even noise outside is piked up at times mainly if i forget to shut my window

for real i turn of everything and anything when i record too....i hate that noise i gotta Behringer C2 condenser so it dont pic up that much but i like too have it as well kept as i can

i wait till my parents go out or there is no one in... but when its rushed.. i jus think fuck it i got a dynamic mic so it dont pick uyp as nuch noise as a consender mic

I dunno what the problem wit the background noise is, that's what noise gates are for.

it's not skimming frequencies off your vocals, it's blocking certain levels of soises from being picked up. Your vocal quality it self dosen't change, just the clarity of interferiences in the recording.

i kno wen i do alot of noise reduction my vocals go soundin all wierd instead of soundin clear

wen eva some one opens my door while i'm recordin i get piss and curse them out even if its my pops or momz.

i work with some pretty bad equipment (yall can vouch for me there, lol)
so i try to make the most out of what i have

plain and simple, my shit gon sound awful if theres noise in the backround
because of this i can really only record when everyones out of the house or if my sisters here...
too many people in my house..

that ish makes me mad..i'll be recording a verse and someone will come out of there room and be like..."DO YOU NEED A RIDE TONIGHT?" and i'll be like "wtf? shutup i'm recording" and then its like get in ur room....

the only time the extra noise was dope for me was when my lil bro was playing 007 and i said something about letting off a clip and he let one off so i paused the beat then when he ran out i hit play and kept going
