Your Thoughts on vegetarians
Yeah,so what are your thoughts on vegetarians?
First off,a lot of religions..such as Hinduism,Buddish, and Seventh-day Adventist Church all promote the vegetarian life. The motives go way beyond just "health" issues. They believe it helps in a spiritual way, stimulating pure thoughs and bringing the person closer to God.Also claiming that all creatures deserve some sort of respect,be it animal or human. 1-Leftover, stale, overripe, spoiled or other impure food- negative emotions, such as anger, jealousy and greed. 2-meat, eggs, fish, spices, onions, garlic, hot peppers, pickles and other pungent or spicy foods.-strong emotional qualities, passions and restlessness in the mind 3-fruits, nuts, whole grains and vegetables-produce calmness and nobility, or what is known as an "increase in one's magnetism." One of the famous sayings in my religion(hinduism) goes.. "Drink milk,or yogurt, eat fruits and nuts. They generate constructive, virtuous, spiritual thoughts" A lot of people, including myself, tend to come into the vegetarian way of things from birth, and having religous fathers. :) Reason that people aviod the vegetarian lifestyle -Health deficiencies But the the whole thing about vegetarians being weaker is all just a myth.Vegetables, fruits and nuts, when taken suffeciently, all contain the neccesarry vitamins needed to ensure a good health. In fact, vegetarians actually have an advantage over meat eaters.Just take a look below.\/\/ Food is easier to digest, provides a wider ranger of nutrients and requires less effort to purify the body from its wastes. Vegetarians' immune systems are stronger, their skin is less flawed and their bodies are more pure and refined. Finally, because meat is expensive compared to fruits, vegetables, etc., a vegetarian diet can also have financial benefits for low-income populations. And it is possible to gain muscle mass while being a vegetarian.I,15 years old,can say that I'm 5'9,168 pounds...and can boast a capability of 40 push-ups on a regular basis, while being a vegetarian. :slick: So bassically, not every vegetarian looks like Gandhi. -Society's pressure Another reason for people demeaning the vegetarian lifestyle,is due to society.Even I can admit, that I have gotten awkward looks in the cafeteria in school for taking that cold, stale peanut butter and jelly sandwich over that big, juicy hamburger. But,society's pressure is one of the things that an individual needs to learn to ignore. So,yea...that's all I got to say.. This the website I got most my information from. http://www.minoritynurse.com/featur.../10-25-05b.html |
People who are veggies...need to wake up
would a lion in Africa go hmm might eat this grass instead of killing that antelope... ^ nope... Ask Jamie Oliver...that fucka killed a Lamb last night on TV and cooked it...and people were complaining and moaning about it...but i wonder how many of them fuckas had lamb chops in their freezer...obviously shit wasn't grown from the ground! |

A lion's mind is nothing to a humans. Can an animal.. -apply insight to problem-solving and understand abstract concepts -reflect on the past and worry about the future - capable of recognizing their own mortality? No,they can't... A lion can only see that a goat or whatever is eatable. You could put poison on that goat's fur or something right in front the lion's face, and the lion would eat it's way into their own death. |

1: define the problem because they don't have the worries we do but we don't have the worries they do...they are clever hunters and are very tactful in how they hunt...they are pack hunters so they have a community (pride) 2: To be able to plan out a kill and formulate positioning and a strategy to successfully kill their prey...then yes 3: I don't think anyone would know that seeing as no-1 can ask a lion that and expect an answer...but it's a possibility |
NK this probably the first decent post i seen from u. Im a vegetarian, not from religion and not because i think its wrong to kill animals. but yeah what u posted sounds about right from the helth side of things. good looks
|
Well I am vegatarian. For one I don't believe somethin' should die just because I'm hungry. And It gives me energy which I need to rip succka mc's. Like you.

Oh shit, match made in heaven. |

yo
< not a hater of vegatarians...respect to what you do...which really is nothing in comparison but i feel our awareness and feelings which are superior to other species hence why we are so clever and blah...misguides us into what we feel we can do morally...i mean we've been eating meat for fuck knows how long...we've been killing animals since the stone age to survive i.e clothing shelter < that stuff which nowadays is pontless like mink coats and shit but the food side (which this topic is about) you're telling me that if ya stranded on an island with nothing to eat but the animals which walk that place which their diet consists of nothing nutritional to us, you wouldn't kill to survive...all i'm saying is...at the end of the day...we are what we are...and in an ideal world i'd like to eat a hamburger thinking that something didn't die so that i could live...but it's just how it is unfortunately...remember plants are living organisms too...but because they don't run around making noises makes that ok? |
CAuse plants are gay. So we eat them.
|
And I just don't eat plants. I still eat fish and some shit they serve at my school. I dunno what it is =/ but it aint meat and its good.
|
Quote:
But you're killing a living thing...whats the difference? |
Quote:
bold = what i call a hypocritical vegatarian...they are people who think fish is ok to eat but a cow isn't...wtf it does the same as a land creature but swims?...hows that justified? |
To me its because you see.. plants don't have minds =/ They don't have nerves. They don't feel or even know whats going on. So why care? And Yes the shit they serve at my school isn't meat if u bothered to bold the rest of it. And fish don't haven erves either. They know they're being eaten but they dont feel pain so eh. Whatayagonna do? And stop being an Anti Vegite<< new word
|
Quote:
For a start just because something doesn't feel pain doesn't mean thats it's ok to eat if your chosen lifestyle says you can't eat living things...therefore your lifestyle contradicts itself by eating the very thing that produces the gases needed to ensure human live...oxygen...seeing as plants produce oxygen and live off CO2 (and we are vice versa)...tell me who ultimately is doing the earth more damage? |
Lmao I'm not the only one eating vegetables.
EDIT People eat it for a side dish. And sorry if I'd rather have energy then eat meat and be stressed 24/7 :wtf: since when does lettuce, corn, and brocolli produce all of our air? |
Blah @ vegetarians, they got no beef
|
Quote:
It's plant life...and plant life goes through a process called photosynthesis...so believe it or not...that lettuce, corn & broccoli was releasing oxygen into the atmosphere and consuming carbon dioxide (which we release) to survive |
BTW humans give of carbon dioxide too. =/ and so do the animals when they breath. And I'm sure I'm not eating our trees and grass. So wtf
|
And another thing.
Seeds come from the plants themselves so after you grow crops u can use the seed from it and the cycle continues. So me eating a salad isnt hurting anything. |
Quote:
duh we release more than we use because the CO2 we intake is exhaled right out + the used oxygen which has been converted into CO2 through our bodies...wtf...you think i didn't know that?...thats why they say (and this is true) that talking to a plant helps it grow because you are directly feeding it Carbon dioxide the gas it needs to eat to live...and you're eating more plants than me i'll say and i seem like the calmer one in this thread... |
Quote:
Plants can easily be replinished. After you pull out a plant from it's root..just go plant another one. It's easier. And Plants don't go extinct like animals do from eating them.As there have been waaay more incidents when a species of animals gets wiped out than where a species of plants get wiped out from people being hungry. For every one link you can show me of a plant getting endangered from this....I can pull out like 5 links to where an animal gets endangered from hunting. And it's not contradicting the lifestyle if you are a veggie due to religion.Religion believes that eating animals alters you emotions, leading you to anger and stress. And that eating fruits and vegetables bring you closer to God. |
Lol you can tell who's calm by seeing words? You're mad at me for not eating meat. Who's really the calmer one here?
|
Quote:
so you can re-produce livestock and slaughter the older animals and raise the young and bring up more livestock... plants & animals aren't all that different really...i'm jus saying something has to die so thatwe live no matter how you look at it if it makes you sleep better @ night better knowing that a fish doesn't feel pain when it's suffocating or a plant can't see or hear then thats cool...i'm jus sayin i'm more aware of this and really whatever happens something dies... |
How are you using the fish defense against me when you eat meat? It hurts your case more then it hurts mine. And fish is brain food. Meat makes you angry. And In the constant state of depression I used to be in I need it. And I dont think a plant can compare to a living breathing animal. You need to stop being so narrow minded and actually think.
|
Quote:
put it this way...i eat meat...i've had no trouble from the police, never killed anyone...not a stressful person...hunting isn't really anything to do with food...cattle isn't hunted down nor are chickens...they are bred...hunting is a sport...thats how animals like the dodo and some giant turtle went extinct... |
Quote:
i'm not mad...i'm actually having a discussion about this... |
I'm discussing too and you brought up the calm thing. I'm on the defense here so natually I'm not gonna be like you in this. I just think one is less morally wrong. Are u ok now?
|
Quote:
^ 1st off...i admit to eating meat because it is a human basic instinct tear away our conciounce and our beliefs we are still flesh and bone that need to survive. 2nd meat doesn't make you an angry person...i would really like to see proof on that...it's like saying GTA promotes violence...how many people did you go out and run over and massacre today? 3rd the last bold is parrallel to your last sentence...i'm not being narrow minded infact i acknowledge a plant as a living BREATHING (coz that's what they do hence photosynthesis) organism...same as me and you...but what i don't do is use a plant as my own defence and say because a plant doesn't feel pain and is unaware it makes it ok...which is what you are doing... for the record I AM SAYING THAT SOMETHING MUST DIE SO THAT WE SURVIVE...I DON'T HATE VEGATARIANS BUT THEIR METHODS ARE FLAWED IN THEIR BELIEFS |
Not really. I wanted energy and not to eat shit that can spoil.
|

no reasonable comeback meaning my work here is done...i'm off home now... |
Wtf why you on bullshit all of a sudden? Fuck you
pc |
i could neva b a vegitarian, meat just tastes too good.
<got a bucket of KFC last night  werd |
alright....first of all....nothing should have to die, just because your hungry...as long as people eat meat in the world, there not going to kill an animal just for you. It's already gonna be there, waiting, for you, or for someone who isn't a vegetarian to eat it. Regardless if you buy that 8 pound bird or not, isn't going to effect the overall population of it's kind. They would have killed it anyways, and as long as the meats on the shelf, you can't argue that. Not to mention, we have evolved to solve complex problems, and yes..animals can do everything you originally asked at the beginning of the post, because a human is an animal, back in the day, we lived off the same instincts a lion does as far as survival. The only reason why so many people arfe vegetarians these days, are because theres mass ammounts of replacements. I highly doubt cavemen came across a cabbage patch and decided they would feast off of just that. They knew better. Because a cabbage can't possibly be enough nutrients to sustain a healthy lifestyle. at the same time, these days, it's not near as hard to survive, so i guess what they did was irrelevant. Im just saying, your arguments don't exactly pan out.
By the way, i have no problem with dieting choice, as long as it's not unhealthy, you can be completely healthy, more healthy, by being a vegetatian, vegan, or whatever. My best friend is a vegetarian, not by choice...he has PKU...but still |
I can't trust anybody who would pass up a T-bone steak for a fucking salad.
|
To the dudes who were saying its ok to eat a fish because it has no nerves:
Does that mean if your dog couldnt feel pain, youd kill it and eat it, and it would be OK? I think unless your a vegetarian for religious reasons, youre a bit of a troublesome guy. Whoa someone killed a cow, an animal bred by man, that isnt wild, and that is meant to be killed and eaten... Have a cry... People in third world countries are so hungry theyd eat a dusty dry ass bush, or a rat. And here you vegetarians are saying "oh no. the food people in my community produced for me is not good enough. I require vegetables, and dishes made without meat... please, everyone around me please cater to my needs, as i am different and therefore superior to everyone else.. i am against the death of animals, but not against war, also known as mass-murder of humans, because killing people for your country is OK, but killing animals for the human race is wrong." often vegetarians I meet, I dont like. I hate going out to dinner or lunch with them and shit. Theyre just such troublesome people. "umm excuse me waiter, is there meat in this meal, because im a vegetarian.. i cant eat meat." Then 10 minutes later, im still hungry as fuck, while the waiter is asking the chefs about ingredients while trying to serve 3 other tables and seat new guests. And when choosing the dinner, they have the fattest cries ive ever seen.. everyone wants to go to KFC, but "everything there has meat in it" .. then we say alright howbout mcdonalds and its "the salads there arent good" .. so we end up going to some shit place that IVE never heard of and nobody wants to go. Chances are if youre a vegetarian i meet in real life, I dont wanna know you/be your friend. Religious vegetarians are OK, and I actually respect them for upholding a religious ideal. But screw most other kinds of vegetarians. |
i agree with what your sayin...
. but arent there cows n other animals in these third world countries you mention, but people refuse to slaughter n eat them cuz they believe a "cows are fuckin religious icon".. that one thing i dont much understand............ . . n the majority of veggies ive met are like.... . meat eaters one year then break down n eat meat secretively while sitting at home, then complain they feel sick... . . dumb fucks the lot of em in my eyes... . the end |
Animal is already dead...someone else is just going to eat it, boycotting something most of the world eats won't do shit but make you an egotistical fuck. Check out was maddox(maddox.xmission.com) has to say on the matter.
|
I think if you want to be a vegi head, then be one, but dont lecture me on why you think eatting meat is bad when god created A1 sauce to further the cause.
