To the "Smart Niggas" *cough* apexx and Q *cough*

i bet no1 on this site can solve this problem, took me a good 30 minutes to get it

"If the points P(-2,3), Q(2,5), and R(2,3) are vertices of a triangle, what is the area of the triangle?"

yea get that bitches, ill give u a hint, u gotta plot the points, need anotha hint jus say so..

Young_law 12-06-05 01:18 PM

wait i think i put up the wrong problem.................

Daubs 12-06-05 01:20 PM

WhoAmI 12-06-05 01:20 PM

for fucks sake will you kids do your own damn homework

Young_law 12-06-05 01:22 PM

lol it did it the answer is four, BUUTTTT you have to do it with herons formula thats the catch, oh and yea thats the right problem

L. Veracity 12-06-05 01:25 PM

well thank you straight A student, some of us didn't have Calculus like you lol

Young_law 12-06-05 01:36 PM

lol

Thats Trigonometry , and your equation is invalid for my wisdom to process. Try asking a real problem isntead of making it up.
Idiot.

lol.....yeah it was a close un.........[/FART_BISCUT]

Compose 12-06-05 03:00 PM

lmao @ takin a half hour for that, what grade you in?

you dont need that heron formula bullshit, plot the points, connect the lines, count how many is for the base and height of the triangle then 1/2 base * height =/ you could use a squared + b squared = c squared all that wack bullshit but its a waste of time imo unless you're dealin wit decimals on the grid

That is a real problem though, it comes out to 4.

Lyriclesolja 12-06-05 03:01 PM

im glad you in ma crew...*hystericly laughs for no reason*

Ysdat 12-06-05 03:05 PM

7.71648594736

Logic The Goonie 12-06-05 03:18 PM

Wow.

I seriously did that problem in my head in like 15 seconds.

Does your classroom have the initial's SE?

∆ P E X X 12-06-05 04:58 PM

Oh shit, lemme bust out my graph paper, compas, and my scientific calculator out of my "Emergency Nerd Kid". Then I'll pretend to give two shits about this question.

Sean Gunner 12-06-05 05:05 PM

The answer is obviously *runs away*

Ysdat 12-06-05 05:39 PM

rofl @ you not getting my sarcasm.

why the fuck would you have to use heron's formula when you could just use 1/2bh?

i did that in like 15 seconds in my head and got 4...

~Lady Fiya~ 12-07-05 12:55 PM

Area = .5 x b x h

That problem up there's too easy.

the points are visual... no need to draw this problems:
the line connecting Q & R are the height (their x coordinates are both 2),
the line connecting P & R are the base (their y coordinates are both 3)

find the distance between P & R by counting the spaces between -2 and 2 which is 4.

find the distance between Q & R by counting the spaces between 5 and 3 which is 2.

.5 x 4 x 2 = .5 x 8 = 4

I didnt read the whole thread. This not on a Calculus level, this basic geometry. Calculus is something you can't even post on a board.

Young_law 12-07-05 01:13 PM

lol yall not gettin it, we are starting herons formula, and she gave us an easy problem to start on, one i got the answer the easy way, i had 2 try and get the same answer using herons formula, which i have never heard of be4 a few days ago

Sik Wit It 12-07-05 03:09 PM

Wtf @ the Geometry shit.

∆ P E X X 12-07-05 03:57 PM

All I know is, this thread can suck the square root of my DICK!

Young_law 12-07-05 05:58 PM

is that riight?

Crazy Hades 12-07-05 06:14 PM

Uhm. I'm going to say

four.

because you already said the answer.

I could probably care less about shit like Heron's Formula and Schwazenagger's Cat. Let's see...

to write a novel, which I plan on doing, I must:

a. have fingers (check)
b. use proper grammar (check)
c. creativity (check)
d. Heron's Formula (fuck you)

Young_law 12-07-05 06:15 PM

hmmmmmmm whyd you post about a book? no one gives a fuck

Rapper 12-07-05 07:21 PM

the answer is 4... i did this in my head...

Magic5 12-07-05 07:44 PM

Dude, I did that shit last year in sophomore math. (high school)
